We have a queen. Would love a king, but unless one falls in our lap it's pretty low on our spending priorities.
My grandparents have been married 70 years (the are 90) and have slept together on a full mattress their whole marriage. My grandfather was 6' 3" in his prime. That blows my mind,
When DH and I stay at my parents' house, we sleep on a full and we feel so cramped. I can't imagine doing it permanently.
We do the same at my parents' house. H doesn't fit length wise so it's uncomfortable for him. We have a queen at our house which is perfect for us. There is no desire to upgrade to a king as far as I know.
Queen. We are in desperate need of a new mattress and have been looking around. Right now, the debate is do we "need" a king? Extra money and a king would block two windows.
We just upgraded to a queen and I am so happy. We had been in a full the last 8.5 years we've been together. We talked about a king, but H didn't want one because he doesn't like being so far from me, lol. He's so cheesy.
Queen. I could not get DH to go up to a King sized bed. He's a stage-5 clinger and likes to snuggle. And now DS just lovvvvvvvvvves to sleep with us. I woke up with a foot in my neck one night. I wish I could go back to the summer before DS was born and get the damn KING bed!

A queen, and I want to kill MH every single night because of it. Neither of us are particularly large. He's not large, yet he takes up the entire bed. I don't understand. This is a source of argument constantly. We really need a freakin' king.
omg. We are in a full. He is 6'3" and broad. It's a good thing we have opposite schedules, because I get smooshed a lot when we're in there together. I'm a snuggler, which is a good thing, but it's overwhelming.

We have a Queen size bed, but during the week/work nights I sleep on a twin in the guest room so H won't wake me when he gets home from work and keep me up watching TV.

Queen, it is me, DH and a 60lb dog snuggled close. I would love a king but DH has declared (after nights in hotels) that he misses me too much when I am that far away. I try to tell him that is the point but I don't see a king in our too near future.
I don't know how anyone who selected double does it. DH had a double before we moved in together and I wanted to kill him every time we slept at his house.

King. DH is a total bed hog and this was the best thing for our marriage. We have a tempurpedic and at least once a week one of us says the bed is our favorite place ever. When we stay at his cousin's or really anywhere with a full size, I sleep with DD and he sleeps on an air mattress or in a different room.
We have a queen, but we plan to get a king when we move in February. We need a new mattress anyway and can't take our current bed frame with us (it's complicated). My parents have an extra king bed frame with a really nice headboard, so we'll be upgrading. I cannot wait!
We've been sharing a full since we moved in together 6 years ago. Our first apartment couldn't handle more than that and then we started aggressively saving for a house. Now that we have the house, we're spending our money on other stuff.
I really want a king but would need to buy a whole bedroom set to go with it so for now we're keeping it.

King. We have a pillow wall system in place since we both need our space. I overheat DH and he always feels cold to me.
Alternately when we sleep on board a boat we share the v-berth which is a full/twin mattress. No problems. There's something magical about sleeping on a boat though.
