If I'm at the beer bar (so it's all craft) about $6-$9 per beer. If I'm at the local spots we usually only go during happy hour so it's between $4 and $5/drink. If we actually go out "at night" (which for us is anything past 7) it's more like $10/drink, and that's only because I look at the menu and pick something cheaper.
A crafted cocktail at a nice place in the burbs or city is going to be about $12- $16, maybe a little less for a simple well drink in a "neighborhood" place.
DH and I had beer at a local touristy place and they charged us $7.50 for Stone IPA on draft. I thought that was a tad high for an excellent but common beer. I'm used to paying about $6.
I don't generally drink wine out unless it's something special. I do a lot of BYO places. There's a neighborhood spahetti red place near me that has wine so bad I pay the corkage fee. Paesano for $5- no thank you. Prices can be all over the place depending on what they're pouring. Last time we did a Friday night event at the Phila Art Museum a glass of the "house wine" was a buck more than buying the whole bottle.
Hipster/upscale/looks like there's expensive lighting design/bartender is wearing suspenders or has a giant ice block: $10-25 (for real, I've seen $25).

Everywhere else: $6-12.
This reminds me of the time DH and I walked into a bar in Paris and drinks were 40 euros each. With the exchange rate, that would have been like $60. Each. For one drink.
The waiter had already put down some snacks. We looked at each other, and then awkwardly stood up and left.
Drink prices are all over the place here. Could be anywhere from $6-8 for beer, $10-16 for wine, and $14-16 for cocktails. "Craft" is all the rage here (not just for beer but also mixed drinks.)

That's not that out of line with typical bar markups.
If you pay $12 for a glass of wine, you should assume that the bar/restaurant paid about that much for the bottle.
My hospitality manager friends claim otherwise.
It was Copper Ridge which sells for about $8-$9 in PA and is on sale in other states for $4.99 this week. I'm used to paying $10 -$12 a glass for something that retails in PA for about $18. TBH, I don't usually drink wine out unless it's a special wine. I generally stop here when I get my hair cut and colored-
*Gets my cane out* Man, I remember when I was in college in the late 90's and Tuesday nights were $2 draft night all over our town. Those were the days.
I usually get wine, so $8 - $10 a glass, hence why I will sometimes order the whole bottle and take the rest home. Even though I know that bottle is $20 at the liquor store.
I mostly drink house wine when out but we tend to go to dives so there isn't a lot of wine options. We haven't gone out to a nicer place in ages so I could be low ballingprices in the area.
Wine is usually $4-6 for HH, otherwise, it's $8+. I was really annoyed when me and H went out for lunch last Saturday and their cheapest cab was $14. I got the merlot.
