I feel so bad for Carey! Ugh. So horrible. I didn't really like him in the earlier episodes, but he really grew on me. I also think his acting was fantastic this episode.

I do too! Do you really think he'll go to jail or do you think Bishop will "save" him at the end? Kalinda always has a way of pulling things out of her hat too.....
I wonder if anything will come of the fact that the DA was apparently having an affair with the detective. He said something to the effect of, "It's over now that you don't need me?"
It seems like the fact that was included in the story line must be relevant to something. Maybe a mistrial?

Good point. And I think that detective guy is someone that Kalinda knows too (I remember that from a previous season) so he might leak information.

If he has already pled guilty, there's no mistrial. The trial is over.

Yeah but could he plead guilty and later the detective give new evidence which would result in a new trial/overturn of conviction?

Ahhh, good point. (haha not a lawyer) I don't know it just seemed like a random story line for it to not have larger implications.
I love this season and I'm a HUGE Cary fan, since he was Logan on GG, I love him. There's no way he can go to jail. I think Kalinda is going to be a big part of him not going away, I just can't figure out how. I can't figure out to do the spoiler tag so don't read anymore if you don't want to be spoiled but Kalinda is leaving the show so it think that ties into how Cary won't go to jail ( or stay in jail I guess since as far as we know now he's pleading guilty)
And...can we get more Eli and Jon please, love those guys. Though, this weeks crisis was a bit manufactured. Stupid Grace, why the hell would you show that note to your civics prof?!

Yeah, this is kind of what I wonder. But I know that once you plead guilty (or are found guilty), it is very hard to get out of jail once convicted. Even with proof of innocence. Regardless, I hope they can figure some way to get him out.
I love this season. I heard Kalinda is leaving, has anyone else heard that?
I heard that as well. I don't think they will kill her off, but maybe she just can't handle it anymore and leaves?
While I was watching, I thought they might have her testify against Bishop and then put her in witness protection. She'd leave the show but there would still be a possibility of a return appearance.

All I keep thinking every time she is near Bishop is that he is going to kill her. I hope not, that is too "easy." Although, I can't think of a good way to write her off either.
I didn't know Kalinda was leaving. Interesting. I'm SURE that coupled w/ the detective sleeping w/ the DA will play into Cary being freed. Hopefully.
Peter having an affair - eh. His marriage is in name only. I think he should have talked to Alicia ahead of time about it and also, basically, give her free reign to be with someone (FINN!!!!!) too.
And as I said in another post - CLOSE YOUR CURTAINS!!!!!
Cary cannot go to prison. It just can't happen. When he took the deal I just sat in shock.
I've read that Kalinda is leaving and for some reason I thought one of the articles said she was going to be killed off. Hopefully that somehow saves Cary.
And I'm just ready for Alicia and Peter to divorce already. But Finn is...he's just hot. Lol.
I'm really, really crushing on Finn. He is such a cutie!! I feel so bad for Carey, and I really don't think he'll go to prison. I am LOVING this season. It is also the first season I've watched in real time (as opposed to binge watching) and the waiting between episodes is killing me!
