First time ever. Some guy was going on about how they couldn't indict because he would be acquitted. I tried to explain the level of proof needed for indictment and conviction are VASTLY different. Dude was all, "I KNOW THAT, I GOOGLED AND AM NOW A LEGAL SCHOLAR*" And I was like, okay, what is the level of proof. He answered, Probable cause. Okay, I asked what that meant and he was all, "I am not playing your childish games, google it." Ummmm, no, I am asking if YOU know what that means. You obviously don't. He then called me a troll personally attacking him.
I feel like this is a win for me. Have you ever been called a troll? Tell me about it.
*edit-not actual quote, but what I got out of his post.

I was called out for MUD as an AE on TN back in 2007, when I found same gender p0rn on my X's computer. We were married at that time. Along with email exchanges, secret profiles, and pics that were exchanged. I think my AE name was FuzzBucket or FrizzBucket. I can't remember now. I wish I could go back and find my posts!
No but I school one of mp FB friends on the 3/5 compromise and he was surprisingly nice about it. Then he friended me which I thought was a little strange

ha, I didn't realize he friended you! He's one of the nicest and most genuine guys I know - truly. He doesn't have an ego and he has a HUGE heart.
I annoyed an anti-vaxxer once by pointing out that none of the resource links she provided to support her position referenced any kind of peer-reviewed scientific research (aside from the single debunked autism paper).
More recently, someone complained that a political meme a mutual acquaintance had posted was based on completely fictitious statistics and hadn't been fact-checked at all. Out of curiosity, I looked up all the statistics myself and posted links to the data. Her response was basically, "I don't believe numbers."

This guy was complete douche. he ignored any facts or articles posted and just kept talking about how it's stupid to indict if the guy won't be found guilty. THE TWO ARE NOT CONNECTED! Indictment does not mean you are guilty! Or else why even have a trial! So I gave up. A troll never gives up. My friend sent me a bunch of apology messages. I was like, don't even care.

Haha, it's fine I just don't know what to do about it. Sorry for hijacking your post with a history lesson
