Which one is it? I love my paperwhite and it has probably saved me over $50 a year in books because I get 99% of my kindle books from the library. So I say get one!

The special offers are only shown when you first wake it up and as a small banner across the bottom of the book menu. It's very unobtrusive. It goes away when you open the book.
Speaking of Kindles, I want to get one for DD. It'll be hooked to my Amazon acct, right? Which means she'd have access to all the kindle books I've bought? Is there a way to change that access? I normally let her read whatever she wants but I have some erotica on there that I'd rather keep from her for the time being.

You select which books go onto which Kindle. While the account can be shared among multiple kindles, each book can only be on one kindle at a time. If you want to limit her access to your library, just don't give her your password and only transfer the books you are comfortable with her reading.

That's not true, though. H and I have a number of the same books on each of our Kindle apps and on my actual Kindle. We've read the same book at the same time on different devices.
Is the difference between this one and the paper white just the light? I'm trying to decide if that's worth the extra $50.
The paperwhite is definitely worth the extra money. It's awesome because you can read it in bright light like a regular kindle and in the dark as well.
