But right now, the cranberries are bubbling away on my stove and the smell of cranberries, orange zest, and cinnamon is my #1 favorite Thanksgiving Day food smell.

Turkey roasting after I've opened the oven and basted a couple of times. DDH always liked to do turkeys in a Reynolds oven bag and that keeps all the smells in. Not fair.
Everything...the baking smells from yesterday and this morning (pumpkin pie, pecan pie, persimmon pudding), the turkey that is now slow roasting in my oven, the fresh cranberry sauce, om nom nom.
I miss the smell of the dressing with the sage I grew. My sister decided at the last minute she wanted to handle that part.
