It's been a better day than I expected. Everyone got along okay. Had some wine!!! Kids are headed to bed and I plan to follow them soon after if only to avoid my inlaws. My MIL has been very passive aggressive but ... what would a holiday be without that?
Are the bladder leakage pads better than regular period pads for peeing yourself? Constant coughing is not my friend.
THIS IS WHAT MY LIFE HAS COME TO.
I feel you. Sneezing is very painful, it's like my abs just can't take anymore. And I've started having BH contractions the last 2 days. My mom (a nurse) saw me have one, and said "GO SIT DOWN RIGHT NOW" in her nurse voice. Yes m'am!

I am so tired. It's 7:30 and I am ready for bed. DD woke up from 1:15-2:45 last night which was fun when I woke up at 5:45 to run the turkey trot. Ate good food, am just waiting for DS to finish watching Wreck it Ralph on TV so I can put him to bed too.
We're at the spackle/sanding part of a bathroom renovation and we can't (DH won't just go along with what I want) decide on a paint color.
I want a dark, almost navy, blue. It's a half bath with a floor to ceiling window right outside the door. Light counter tops, light cabinet, light hardwood, white toilet. He thinks it'll be way too dark. So he chooses a color two clicks off of what we've already chosen for two other rooms in the house.

Tell him that we vote NAVY! Seriously, it would look awesome. I love that look.

Meee too! It's just a half bath. We can be bold for 10 square feet! Gah. I may just go tint the paint. He's too cheap to protest once I have it tinted. Although, the dark will highlight imperfections so he'll complain till the end of time.
Sooooo tired. J decided he was up for the day at 4am. I was supposed to bake pumpkin bread for our thanksgiving lunch but I decided to get (delicious) store bought banana bread instead.
We had a fantastic afternoon at my parents. My parents kinda sucked as parents, but it is SO awesome to see how amazing they are with Jack. Jack was so excited to see them that he went down for his nap way late. My mom volunteered to nap with him on her bed, and he slept for over 3 hours!!! While he slept, I snuck off to drink and hang out with my best friends who are all back in town. H willing stayed at my parents and watched football with my dad.
Now we're back home with tons of leftovers, and I'm curled up in bed gbcn'ing with pie and ice cream.
I left dh for 90 minutes alone with the girls. The only other time he was alone dd2 screamed the whole time and wouldn't take a bottle and dd1 ran around the crazy. I Com ehome tonight and dd1 is already in bed (on time) and dh is giving dd2 a bottle. So happy he handled it well.

We had our anatomy scan yesterday and told the family it was next week. Tonight at dinner everyone went around the table saying what they are thankful for. I said I'm thankful for my TWO girls! Everyone was so excited!

Spent the day at my parents with DS. Really low key, as all of my siblings and myself are single. Afterwards took DS to XH's house and am now prepping for turkey dinner #2 tomorrow that I am hosting.
Dinner was relatively uneventful. It was only an hour and a half later than my mom planned for it to be done. Par for the course. My dad was drunk and annoying, also par for the course.
I'm happy that we had C's bedtime as an excuse to duck out around 7.
I decided to pop into Target after we put C down, just to check out the madness. I've never done Black Friday before, and now I know why. The lines were insane and blocked like half of the merchandise in the store. I left without buying anything after making a quick lap around the store. I also sort of hate myself for even going.

Dinner was really nice - my turkey came out perfectly. Hauling turkey, gravy, brussel sprouts and 2 pies to my mom's actually wasn't as bad as I feared. H, unfortunately, did not come, and my patience is wearing thin with him. I really just wish he would stop being so stubborn. I know he's hurt, but he's not helping things by refusing to speak to them and listen to their apologies.
My dad is coming over tomorrow to work on the house. I plan to grab DD and run if shit gets crazy. But where will I go on black friday??
Dinner out a restaurant was a bust. DD fussed from the moment we stepped in the placed. We had to wrap dinner up and bring it home. She didn't want to eat her dinner and has been mad at mealtimes lately. I hope it's teeth or a new skill or something because it has been really difficult with her the past few weeks.
holly116 - another vote for navy! We have the same color that peggy posted - it's in our mud room.
Our Thanksgiving was good. We drove to my parents (2 hours away). My mom cooked everything and it was delicious. I'm sick and coughing a lot so I'm glad to be able to be lazy and do nothing. Plus my dad loves playing with DS. Sitting in the couch in my sweatpants and other than being sick, it's been a great day.

We are having Thanksgiving tomorrow. We picked up what was supposed to be our 23lb thawed turkey from a family member who had an extra fridge, and that effer was still frozen solid. I don't want to be up all night thawing it, so H went out and got a fresh turkey tonight. So we have. 23lb 1/4 thawed turkey AND a 14lb fresh one in the fridge :*(
