Help me with red lipstick. PIP.

I have never worn anything but lighter gloss. Like - ever.

But I am trying out red for a Christmas party (so original, lol).

This is some reckon color I picked up last week. I bought the matching red liner. Do I have to go get Russian red from Mac? That's what all the blogs say.

Is this too Orange on me? Eta- tapatalk posted the pic upside down. Not me!

Also - I won't wear this make up when I wear the lips. I'll do light eyeliner and no pink tones. I was just trying out the lipstick here - not the whole face.

Guys just don't do well with change, in my experience.  One day you switch up your eyeliner and they're thrown for a loop for a week.

not orange. More blue. Generally anything with "Russian" in the title is a blue red. Lol.

I agree, go with a deeper blue red (think Taylor Swift's lips) because yasssss you were born for red lips!

Oh and if you want it to last a long time put on a coat and blot with a tissue but keep the tissue in your mouth (like on your lips) and take a giant powder brush and dust powder (or baby powder) all over the tissue and then reapply.

Does that make any sense?

I totally agree. We are having my side of the family over for thanksgiving #2 and I was exhausted so I put on more than I usually do.
