I don't know specifically what that is, but I feel your pain. my Mil is obsessed with trying to convince us to let her buy one of those motororized kiddy cars. NO! Dh had a big discussion with her about how we don't think they're safe, but she keeps going on and on about how she keeps looking for them in yard sales. Why don't grandparents listen!! Eta: yup I just Google your description. GAH, power wheels! You're living my nightmare @this
I feel you. I sent MIL Bs wish list and she's made it clear she plans to ignore it. Grrr. I spent a long time selecting gifts at all price points. My brother says he only wants to buy loud big things.
Pretty sure my ILs are getting DS a drum set. He is 14 months and they know my hatred of those things. Just going to bury that shit in that basement. Ugh!
Oh god. I can see the humor in buying annoying presents for kids that can be used during the event at hand and then HIDDEN AWAY. But something big like that?? I'd be so mad. Thank goodness my in-laws listen to our rules and my parents have similar taste to me.
My mil keeps buying my babies clothes. She got them their "christmas outfit". She got the wrong size and I told her I already bought them. She also has terrible taste. I have a feeling she'll be buying more crap I dont want in years to come.

Yeah, mine does this too. It's really sweet of her, but most of it is not our taste at all. Oh well, he needs spare clothes to take to daycare or keep in the car/diaper bag, so we mostly use them for that. She does occasionally buy some really cute, nice, or useful things, so that makes up for the "misses."
This is both totally unhelpful and probably judge-worthy, but my 19 month old LOVES our Power Wheels Jeep and is surprisingly good at driving it. He is not allowed to ride it without a big brother with him, though.
I would nonetheless be annoyed if my ILs wouldn't listen to me. My ILs bought my kids guns for Christmas two years ago, and I was not happy. Sorry.

I would RAGE if my in-laws (or anyone for that matter) got my kids guns.
