I am having the most annoying pain. It's on my left side In my inner leg where my leg attaches and shoots up to about 6-8".
It only happens when I stand and walk. A little if I sit cross-legged.
It is really getting difficult to move. It gets better at night, but comes back.
Has anyone found relief from this? I'm 26.5 weeks.
I mentioned it my doctor and he seemed unconcerned when I said it gets better while I sleep, but I will mention again when I'm back in a little less than 2 weeks if it's still there.
You know I'm a huge skeptic but a chiropractor has made a huge difference for me. I was basically immobile at the end of the day by 24 weeks with back/hip/tailbone pain this time. I'm 30 weeks today and feel so much better now since I've started seeing her. It's really the only thing I've changed.
Oh, and I take long, hot baths in the jacuzzi tub almost every night. I expect our water bill will be insane but I frankly don't care. I figure it's offset by the lower alcohol spending.

Is it sort of worse when you try to swing your leg forward? I had pain like that sporadically throughout my second pregnancy. It would be bad for a few weeks (I think it started around 20 weeks) then go away for a few weeks , then come back. My Dr just chalked it up to relaxing hip tendons. It was pretty immobilizing at times. I
Honestly, just about t every pregnancy pain I had resolved in a few weeks when baby grew a little more or shifted positions. Some of them came back again, but it was like just when it was getting so bad I couldn't stand it, it would go away (and generally something else would hurt, but at least it was something different).
I never saw a chiropractor, but did get a few prenatal massages that helped a lot. Also a pregnancy support belt worked wonders.

Maybe? Walking, climbing stairs and especially getting up from a seated position or squat are brutal.
Those are all the same times I feel the pain too. Sleeping with a pillow between my knees helps. I think swimming would help too. I am hoping to find a pool tomorrow.

I got a referral for physical therapy for back pain when I was pregnant with DD, and the physical therapist also gave me exercises for the typical pregnancy aches and pains and checked out all of that stuff during each appointment. It was awesome, and doing the exercises she gave me between visits made me a whole lot more comfortable, too. It might be worth asking for a PT referral.

I was just going to ask if climbing stairs was hard. Also turning over in bed or trying to put on pants (standing on one leg) would put me in tears. It's called pelvic girdle pain. I had to figure it out myself because my midwife had no idea what I was talking about. There were some stretches recommended online that helped me a lot.
I've had it with both pregnancies. Chiropractic care mixed with minimal stair climbing, cleaning and picking up/pushing objects helps me. Trying to keep your knees together when you roll over etc. helps too. My chiro has me doing some stretches that I find are helpful.

Yep. That sounds like it when I read the description. It also said it affects 45% of women during pregnancy or childbirth, so sounds pretty likely.
Especially the part bout pain radiating down the legs.
I'll look for some stretches, but let me know if there was a site you liked.
