I'll bake several kinds of cookies for neighbors, teachers and some other people. Other than that my three year old godson I'm making two reversible superhero capes and matching masks. Those will be my only homemade gifts

This year I'm making: crochet Colorado flag hats for my 4 nieces and nephews, shaving cream and after shave for DH, mugs that say `grandma/grandpa eat 2014` for the ILs, and DH is making a wine rack for my parents.
And a knit hat for one SIL and knit cowl for another with Dec birthdays.
I usually do a lot more homemade, but with DD (six days old now), I didn't want to plan on too much.

I make peppermint bark for all the inlaws. I made it one year and it was such a hit that I get requests now. Thanks for the reminder as need to add it to my to do list.

Both of my girls are getting a piece of jewelry from me. For #2 it's a bracelet with a name charm, not sure what I'll do for #1 yet. I'm also making earrings for one of my cousins, and a bookmark for another cousin.
I've done hot chocolate kits in the past. I give my grandfather oatmeal cranberry cookies. And I make homemade Baileys every year to give as gifts. I've also done flavored vodka, but I usually start it before thanksgiving since it takes about 4 weeks.
I'm making dd1 a loft bed (with dh's help), baby doll diapers for both kids, a travel art set for dd1 and something for my SS. Dh made his mom a fancy keychain, my dad a knife case and some homemade mead for my new BIL. We're big on the homemade gifts.

Thanks for sharing. It sounds like you all have some fun projects in the works. I decided to use old jeans and I cut out the pattern tonight. I am using this link as my inspiration, thereisbeautyallaround.wordpress.com/2014/01/29/felt-hobby-horse Mine won't be quilted.
I am making DD and her BFF matching dance bags, I am trying my hand at some of those sharpie decorated mugs but am unsure of the recipient, I made my aunt a bracelet using my grandma's old buttons and will make another aunt a picture with some of them. I plan on making my mom a bracelet using resin and pictures of the grandkids. I made hair bows and Elsa hair for DD1, and tooth fairy pillows for my older 2.
In the past I've made homemade vanilla extract. It takes some preplanning though (6 weeks or so).
I've done this too. I've also made a grocery list for a group before- I have a specific list template I use that is in the order of the store (yeah, nerd) so I printed those out & made wooden backer boards for them so you can write on the list/cross things off in the store. I've made breads, cookies, truffles, cookie trays, etc. This year I am making L a gadgets busy board.
Cookies. This year I think I'm going to start early and try and make some time consuming cut outs for our neighbors and the nice ladies at the gym childcare. I need to pick up some decorative tins.
This reminds me of my first Christmas in Denver. I had no money so I made tons of cookies and then shipped them to my mom, my boyfriend's mom etc. I think I about passed out at the ups store when I went to ship them!
I don't typically make gifts. But I've made DS and DH robes before. DH is really tall, so it's not an easy thing to buy ready made. His first Christmas I made him and DS matching robes which was cute. I was kindo of toying with pajama pants for everyone this year.
I made DS's resource teacher a fleece coat for her boxer. The dog's name was Paris and I found a fleece with Paris landmarks on it. I made her a hat and scarf to match.
