Angel Tree help-- 12 year old boy

We're doing an Angel Tree donation through Mr. Smock's work, and we were assigned a 12 year old boy. The card lists some clothes that he needs, but under wants it just says "baseball, basketball, soccer." I have no idea what a 12 year old boy might like! Does he want a basketball? Or does he want some basketball related items? 

Any suggestions on fun things to buy for this little boy?

All I know is that soccer balls and basketballs are ALWAYS flat when you want them.

Any type of Under Armour or Nike hoodie or t-shirt would be a good choice in the sporty category, while not being tied to anything specific.

Mr. Smock was thinking a baseball mitt, but now I'm wondering if baseball is actually one of his interests. The card very confusingly says "bball, batball." So is one of those baseball?

I really wish the cards had more space for info about the kids!
