I ran 3 miles today at sunrise along Waikiki Beach. It was already over 70 degrees and the scenery was absolutely magical.
One of the strangest things I've ever seen is a horse that appeared out of the mist and falling snow walking down the railroad tracks all by itself. I was at mile 10 of a half marathon and thought I was hallucinating. It was so bizarre.

I did 3 miles at lunch. I work in a business park that requires running on the road with 18 wheelers at different points. As I told MH, running towards an 18 wheeler driving down the street can really put a pep in your step! It is beautiful out and never in a million years did I think I would be running in a tank top and capris on December 1st.

A quick-ish 1.2 mi for me this morning. It was almost 50 this morning and I really wanted a longer run, but I had to take my son to his specialist over an hour away today, so no time for more.
I don't see a lot of strange things on my runs, but one morning I did happen upon this:
3.1 tonight after little man was asleep. Windy, but no cars so I essentially had the whole neighborhood to myslef. It was nice! I also manages some decent negative splits by about a minute each time - yay!
And can't think of anything really weird/odd I've seen while running. Boo.
Hope no one minds if I start the check-in today. I didn't see another post and I have to catch a flight soon.
How far did you run (or walk if you're on the walk streak) today? Speed workout: 1.5 miles x 4 times with 800m rest in between.
What is one of the strangest things you've ever seen while running? The cutest and strangest thing I think I've seen is a guy that used to run in my old neighborhood with a great dane and a chihuahua. They both kept up with him but it was too cute to see the tiny little dog with the big ol' dog.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
I don't usually see much on my rural roads, sometimes not even many cars. I do keep scaring pheasants up lately, and their flutter and squack terrifies me for a second until I realize it's just a bird!
How far did you run (or walk if you're on the walk streak) today? For the streak, I ran 2 miles on the treadmill at 6.5 mph pace (which is my sweet spot - I can carry on a conversation and generally feel really good running at that pace).
What is one of the strangest things you've ever seen while running?
About 2 years ago I was running on our back country roads and swore I saw a fox. Then I thought I was probably hallucinating and was going crazy. Then about a week later I was having breakfast on our back deck and saw the fox again! Apparently there was an influx of them in our area at the time. Kinda cool!
