I love the BNL Xmas album. Also the South Park Christmas album is hilarious.
My favorite ever of all time is Sleigh Ride though. The Leroy Anderson instrumental original. As a musician and as a listener, this one is the best. It makes me almost as happy to listen to it as to play it.

Is this a good place to post how hilarious it is to me that every conservative Jesus nut I know is losing their goddamn minds over the pentatonix Christmas album (and they are one of my favorite bands ever) when two of their members have one of the most literally overtly homosexual YouTube shows I have ever seen where they get drunk before every episode and act hilariously foolish? I love it. They're all "little drummer boy!" And I want to be all "lol google superfruit and get back to me."
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
I sing this one with feeling every time I hear it.
Rarely do I meet a Christmas song that I don't love. I ADORE Christmas music. My favorite right now is Straight No Chaser. They do acapella Christmas right. I've only heard a little by Pentatonix, but I dig them, too.
The Christmas song that is cracking my shit up right now is this Lady Gaga rendition of Deck the Halls. Talkin about her Christmas tree's delicious. WTF, Gaga. WTF. Christmas is sacred, ya weirdo.
Um.. I don't like Christmas music very much. Goes along with my general dislike of Christmas.
This is me. I will begrudgingly tolerate it while decorating a tree but as soon as we are done, turn that shit off. It's trite and the same crap year after year.

What makes it worse is that DH loves Christmas music. And he loves all the stuff I really hate (Bing, etc). And loves the songs I really hate. I let him play it after Thanksgiving, but he hasn't yet figured out that I'm cranky when he plays it because I hate it so much. I've actually told him. He just conveniently forgets.

Classic Christmas (Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams) Josh Groban's "O Holy Night" The Waitresses "Christmas Wrapping" "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" (Thurl Ravenscroft) The Charlie Brown Christmas special soundtrack Trans-Siberian Orchestra (especially their Christmas Canon) Barenaked Ladies Christmas album Just about all versions of "Carol of the Bells" -- that was my FAVORITE song in high school choir, since it featured the lowly alto section!
This was my grandfather's favorite. He had a lovely singing voice, and I always tear up hearing it every year.
Harry Connick Jr's first Christmas album, Celtic Woman, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra are my go-to albums. I also like some of the Straigh No Chaser songs I've heard, and I love Melissa Etheridge's version of So This is Christmas/Give Peace a Chance.
"Not gonna lie; I kind of keep expecting you to post one day that you threw down on someone who clearly had no idea that today was NOT THEIR DAY." ~dontcallmeshirley
"Christmas Eve Sarajevo" by TSO "White Christmas" by Bing Crosby (it isn't Christmas until I hear this song) "All I Want for Christmas Is You" Mariah Carey
I also have a 2-disc CD I bought from Bath & Body Works years ago (lol) that is a compilation of classic Christmas songs sung by current day artists. I forget the title. But I love those CDs!

Where are you Christmas? By faith hill gets me crying like a freaking baby.
Mary's Boy Child (don't know who sings it) makes me so happy and joyful and I sing it all around the house and my Dh and kids are like here she goes. It's so wonderful! I may go put it on now and sing while I clean.
