From FB: "81 years ago today, alcohol prohibition was replaced with regulation as the 21st Amendment was ratified. From the earliest days of Prohibition, people saw the gruesome violence with which bootleggers conducted their underground business. They saw that alcohol was still readily available, but since bootleggers aren’t bound by rules governing health, safety, or the types of products they could carry. People were still drinking, but they were much less safe while doing it. Sound familiar?"
I actually visited 4 wineries today and saw this as we pulled up to #4. What a perfect way to celebrate Repeal Day. (This post may have been better without correcting my typos, but I still have my former English major dignity).
