I'm thinking perhaps you should give it another try. I mean, ritz crackers, and cheddar cheese. Can't go wrong there. I make it a few times a year and the fam loves it.
This one? I usually combine the shredded cheese and the crackers in the food processor. It makes a more cohesive coating. I didn't the first time and the cheese didn't really sick. Also add a little salt.
I did not make the sauce or use dried parsley. My issue with it was the texture. I am going to take another stab at it. The crackers were not crispy- it was mushy even though I followed the recipe exactly.

Very similar but I think I'll try this one next time.
I did find my new go to dip for chicken. Ranch and siracha are amazing.
You put ranch and Sriracha together?
And you expect us to trust your judgment on crispy cheddar chicken?
I love siracha and I didn't have all of the ingredients for the recipe sauce. It was good but I do agree you should not trust my judgement because I will eat just about anything.

My chicken coating did not have a good texture. I wish it was crispy chicken. Instead the coating fell off the chicken and it didn't get crispy like I wanted.
