20 hrs So no pics of Bumblebee tonight. The kids were apparently touching him when I wasn't in the room to see, their dad was at work so he couldn't stop them. I only figure this because they said Bumblebee didn't lose his magic. So now they will have to learn not to touch our little scout elf. I guess a hard lesson for my little ones, but in the end I believe it will be a good lesson. Don't judge me for it either. I have spent the last 6 years raising a son who is for the most part a respectable little 6 year old. My little princess is still learning at her little age of 3. I was raised to be respectable, damn right I will do my best to teach them to be the same. This will teach them that when mommy says don't touch, they shouldn't touch. So I don't care if you think that makes me a mean/bad parent. Everyone parents differently. I might be a little strict with my kids, but at least i know I will do my best to not allow them to be out in the world being tyrants, racist, and rude. I want them to be respectable, and compassionate to others. No matter what. I don't want them to be bratty and believe they can just take what they want. I want them to work hard to get the things they want out of life. I want them to know if they have dreams, that I will do my best to help them achieve those dreams, but know it will take a lot of hard work and dedication to get there. My kids are quite independent, except when they don't want to be. I want to make they stay that way. I think the hardest lessons I teach my kids are the ones that make them upset, and I know tomorrow's lesson will do. I will tear me up inside to know they will probably cry over their elf not having "magic", but in the end they will have learned. Yes, I understand they are still young, but that's when they absorb the most information. I highly believe if you start teaching young they just might turn out to be better people when they are older. So if you have to judge, well whatever, but I ask you please don't. Especially so if you don't know me. I'm think I a pretty nice person until you cross me the wrong way, then well. Yeah. Have a good night everyone. Maybe Bumblebee will reappear tomorrow, or maybe wait until Monday. We will see.
Hero: I think your over evaluating the situation. It's an elf 20 hrs
B McW: The lesson has nothing to do with the elf. The lesson is they need to listen to what I tell them, and they were told not to touch the elf. Like I said don't feaking judge me. I don't judge your parenting, so don't judge mine. 20 hrs
Hero: That's my point, no one thinks your a bad mom for taking a creepy holiday tradition away from your kids 20 hrs
B McW: But I know there are some out there that would, that was why I elaborated on it. I get judged a lot on how I raise my kids. Some think I'm overly strict with my discipline, when all I'm doing raising my kids basically the same way H and I were both raised. We get judged for it. I know everyone gets judged for the way they raise their kids. Those that are too easy and let kids get away with things. Then those of us who lay down the lay down the law. I give my best "I mean it or else" attitude which may seem like I can be a very mean mommy, but I can only hope it will make the kids think before they do something first. And you're right strict but not too strict, we need fun too, or they will be uncontrollable. I think the younger the better. Waiting to teach only delays and makes it harder I think. 20 hrs
*Did you enjoy how she tried to make it seem like this was H's doing for being AT WORK? *If you have to elaborate it and worry about being judged, NO ONE IS 'FEAKING' MAKING YOU POST IT.

Followed by a long passive aggressive post about how she is a nice person until someone crosses her the wrong way. Then well, yeah...NO MORE MCWINDBAG POSTS FOR YOU".

This is hilarious. Don't freaking judge me! is my favorite part. Why write all of that nonsensical garbage on social media if you don't want to get judged?

I just can't imagine how bored she must be to keep relaying every tiny detail of her extremely mundane life. And then try to create drama over something that no one could possibly give a shit about.* I think I feel both bad for and annoyed at her.
*On further thought, if the number of posts on ML about elves is indicative, perhaps this is a highly controversial topic. I haven't read any of them.
I'm glad Hero responded, but sad she doesn't know the difference between your and you're.
And lol at "don't judge me".
I'm wondering if she means respectable or respectful?
ETA1: And this is why my "blog" is only the one page and I have never posted it anywhere but here (Twice. Sorry. Total click-bait, I know.) My lyfe is boring, I use lots of words and there's no way I'd want to be this obnoxiously long-winded for no purpose. Please just leave it at "Kids touched the elf. Got into trouble. Need to work on getting the magic back. The end." Or not, because then we won't have these lovely posts to make fun of.
ETA2: Dammit, I didn't see litebright's post. Great minds. :points at my eyes, her eyes.
