I'm baffled by what FB digs up on who I've dated, it has a better memory than me. Recently it was showing me a guy I don't know, have no mutual friends with. I clicked through his profile pics because he looked sorta familiar, and one of them jogged my memory. I went out with this guy ONCE, mayyyybe 6 or 7 years ago? One and done dinner date. I remembered that pic because he sorta looked like Tom Brady in it, but in person looked like his older, heavier, washed up brother. I didn't have him saved in my phone after that, don't even know if I had FB then, maybe we exchanged emails through my email that's linked to FB and that's how it connected us?

This happened to me too. However, mp I think it might be more linked to your email (that you sign in with) than phone numbers because I've changed my phone number recently and like starburst604 had people show up from years ago (pre-XH) when I had a Boston phone number instead of a NJ one. The only thing the same is the email address.
Yup, this has happened to me too. People that I've only texted before (aka dudes from online dating sites) have shown up in my "people you may know". I've even seen someone there who I knew from MySpace when I was 17 or 18- and I haven't logged into MySpace in years and years, nor have I talked to this person outside of it. Facebook is such a fucking creeper.

Google voice saved my life when it came to my X. We both had google voice numbers. I didn't want to get rid of mine so blocking him was super easy. Best decision ever.
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."

It's all of the above. Email, phone, Instagram... These are tinder guys that the only connection we have is tinder and text messages.
Tinder is only through fb so that part makes total sense. You can't use it without a fb acct
I have my Gmail account linked to my address book, so every time I add a new contact, it automatically stores that address into my email account as a backup (and FB has access to my contacts). I think Google then searches that person's phone #, finds their name, and tries to connect us via other outlets, like Facebook.
Today a guy I chatted with via Imessage came up on my FB as "People You May Know." I never looked at him on FB, he never looked at me, and we met on OKC. It has to be through my email/Gmail.
