My hair's been thinning quite a bit lately. I was diagnosed with hypothyroid back in December, so it's more or less under control, but I just stopped taking my bc and I'm predicting I might see a bit more thinning, unfortunately.
My main concern is the crown, particularly my part line. I've heard that parting in the same spot can encourage fallout in that area, but I haven't been able to train my hair to part anywhere else but middle-slightly to the left.
Any shampoo/conditioners you love? Right now I use Aveeno Nourish + Volumize, but I'm open to spending more for better results.

I agree with the supplements. I alternate between Alterna's Caviar line in the volumizing versions and Sojourn. I use the Sojourn Colour Preserve, but they do have a volumizing line. It was developed by Elan Sassoon who is the son of Vidal Sassoon. He did research on the chemistry of shampoos and conditioners. The Ph levels are different in this line and it has keratin to strengthen and repair hair. It's also paraben, sulfate, formaldehyde, alcohol, gluten, dye, and salt free as well as biodegradeable. I only switched from the Alterna after a few years of use and my hair getting to used to the formulas.
