In a pugz -like attempt to bring some cheer back to this place, tell me about your happy place. Where/what is it? Interpret this as you wish. It can be a real place, or a state of mind.
My happy place is anywhere with live music, but especially small bar-like venues or outdoor band shells. I love a good drummer and bass player especially. I can't really even describe how happy I am when I am at a good show with good friends, a beer in my hand and making friends with fantastic musicians.
Here is a PIP of one of my favorite nights at the music festival I went to last year. It was three days of great live music with a ton of my favorite artists/friends. After the all day shows, we ended up having a random drunk jam session in the hotel lobby until 5am. (heart)

Laying out in a chaise next to a pool. By myself, or with DH, no children around to keep from drowning. A drink in my hand and a good book to read. Bliss.
Floating on my back in a pool in the middle of summer, in my kitchen baking listening to a good podcast,in a movie theatre, at brunch surrounded by my husband and friends laughing.
The beach. Specifically watching beach volleyball. So much energy and fun. It only happens once a year, but it's always fun. And it's something fun DH and I get to do together.

it used to be riding my horse. Then I had an evil farm sitter who made him unridable. Now I guess snugging with my baby but obviously that is just the new mom honeymoon phase talking.
At my parents' house. They take such great care of me and make me feel like I have no worries in the world.
Yes! We spent a weekend with my parents last month and my mom did everything, including caring for the baby, so I just got to relax. They also live in the country surrounded by fields, so it's very beautiful and peaceful there.
Target. That's my happy place. As opposed to Costco aka the happiest place on Earth
Also, running in the early morning sunshine in weather warm enough for a tank and shorts but just cool enough to keep me from getting hot.
DH taught DD1 to say Costco is the happiest place on earth. That's probably up there with convincing her prunes are candy on the list of reasons she'll hate us as a teenager.
