I don't like it personally, but I don't hate it for someone else. I see it as being really similar to Parker, and the only Parker I know is a really great person so it has good associations for me.
Is it a family name? If so use it as MN. I like " boyish" names for girls, but I agree with @brie that it would not be a good name starting in like the 5th grade.

It's not for me. Just had a friend name their DD that.

I think it's cuter for a boy (DD1 has a little boy named Palmer in her class), but I wouldn't be surprised to hear it for a girl. Especially in the south aka, the Land of Last Names for Little Girls' First Names.
It's a little odd she's named after Arnold Palmer.
NMS but I mean, we live in a world where there is likely to be a President Nevaeh or a President Jaidyn one day so whatever. Palmer is one of the more innocuous of the "out there" baby names I have heard lately.
This is my guilty pleasure name for a boy (Which we will never use because all H hears is Pallbearer apparently).
On a girl...just NO.
I don't understand this boy name on a girl thing at all. Ever. There are 43643643643 great girl names and approx. 13 good boy names. Why must people ruin the few good ones left.
