According to one blog anyway. Would love to see other favorites- Since taking up running I've surprised myself with how excited I get for the bling.

I'll have to get to a Disney race some day, the medals are pretty cool.

I have the Atlantic City one from this year, but it seems they skipped the LED this time, lol. It was big, but not specifically noteworthy.

ETA: Mine is from a different year/different surfboard, but same general design.

Oh I love medals! I really love the Space Coast medals, and would totally go run one of those  


I wear my Nike necklaces all the time. This year's necklace was awesome. 



When I was in Scotland in Sept/OCt, I saw someone wearing the Loch Ness Marathon medal and I thought it was so cool with Nessie swimming across the top: 



and I'm in love with this Hokkaido Marathon medal. I think it's just incredibly beautiful and would totally try to force a family vacation to Japan for it:

I saw the Space Coast medals a few weeks ago. They were having packet pick up at the same location as pick up for the turkey trot I ran. I looked up the race that night and added it to my 2015 to do list!

ktzmoh, the one from Japan is gorgeous! And I definitely need to sign up for the Nike Women's one. Those Tiffany ones are awesome!

There is a local race series where I live that is pretty cool. It is 4 half marathons, one for every season. You get a different puzzle piece for every one you run and they fit together in to one, big medal. labbie, did you hear about that one? or are you doing it?

This is one of my most practical medals since it's a bottle opener, I love it!
Trail/obstacle/mud race that started at a local horse stable, so I love that they incorporated a horseshoe ( and bottle opener) into the design.

That will be an awesome medal! I won't be earning one. I'm planning on doing the April half, but can't commit to the summer one since I'm trying to incorporate some trail race too. Plus the January one that is laps of the same loop at mcc doesn't hold much appeal for me.

I'm shooting for the April half too I did it a few years back and liked it. I won't be earning one either. I won't be in enough shape to run a winter half. Plus, as you said, the mcc course sounds lame.

I LOVE my Big Sur medal but the Tiffanys necklace from my first ever marathon (Nike Women's 2005) will always be my favorite

Nike races have been on my bucket list specifically for the Tiffany, and now I really want a space shuttle and a surfboard too!

I was so disappointed with my Nike one from 2013. I specifically ran that race for the necklace (it was likely my first and last marathon so I wanted something to remember it by).

I've only done the half side of the space coast course. Flat, flat, flat. Registration fills up fast. Opens Feb 15, 2015.

I love my wineglass trifecta, I have a medal from the spring 8k they do, the half and the full.
