More emails from Sony executives have been leaked during the largest security breach in the company’s history. This time the subject of the emails was President Barack Obama.
Studio co-chairman Amy Pascal and producer Scott Rudin exchanged emails discussing what exactly the president’s favorite movies would be. Of course those emails weren’t the most politically correct. The two executives joked that Obama’s favorite movies would only be black films.
According to Buzzfeed, the conversation took place after Pascal asked for Rudin’s abvice about a fundraiser she was attending.
“Would he like to finance some movies?” responded Rudin.
“I doubt it. Should I ask him if he liked Django?” said Pascal, with Rudin replying “12 Years.”
“Or The Butler. Or Think Like a Man?” continued Pascal, who happens to have contributed thousands to the Democratic Party.
“Ride Along. I bet he likes Kevin Hart,” said Rudin.
After the scathing emails were released, Rudin issued an apology, of course.
“Private emails between friends and colleagues written in haste and without much thought or sensitivity, even when the content of them is meant to be in jest, can result in offense where none was intended,” he told Deadline. “I made a series of remarks that were meant only to be funny, but in the cold light of day, they are in fact thoughtless and insensitive—and not funny at all. To anybody I’ve offended, I’m profoundly and deeply sorry, and I regret and apologize for any injury they might have caused.”
No offense, my bad. They were supposed to be jokes. Yup, typical things people say when they’re caught.

Lets see which two Sony executives won’t get an invitation to the next Obama party.
"Not gonna lie; I kind of keep expecting you to post one day that you threw down on someone who clearly had no idea that today was NOT THEIR DAY." ~dontcallmeshirley
Have you seen the emails? Chile. These folks needed a lesson in "Shit You Don't Put In Email." It's a mess and a half.
Yes. Maybe it's just working in the public sector, but I am very, very careful about what I put in email. FOIA is no joke.
Also, FOIA aside , nothing is hack proof, so basically, anything you write can come back to bite you in the butt.
This says nothing of the actual content of these emails. Like the article said, they're only sorry, because they got caught. Chris Rock was right in his commentary, about Hollywood and Black people. As long as you're making them money and doing what they want, you're good. Deviate from that and you're a diva, difficult, and now a whore, I guess.
