I had a random thought about taking a bath later and now it's all I want to do.
H has been talking for a while about an ice scraper he had forever ago that had a mitt on the end and was just the best thing ever until he lost it. Probably the most random Christmas gift I bought ever, but at least he can scrape his windows with a warm hand?
I have been wanting mexican food for a while and have a girl date Friday to finally get some. The only thing that might make it better was if I could eat it in the tub later.
I am meal planning (failing) and trying to keep from falling over to take a nap.
I swear Renton Vo-Tec drugged the food this year, I am SO SLEEPY. It was prime rib, not turkey so tryptophan. At this rate, I'm going to do another stellar MUST SLEEP collapse on the couch when I get home instead of hitting the gym like I want.
I noticed yesterday that most of my nails have a darker "white" grow-out ring just past the cuticle now. I'm suspecting they're all from the stress/drugs immediately after the accident. I always think its odd that the less translucent darker white shape the runs the full width of the nail is the weak part, I would think it would be stronger because whiter = more dense?
I keep debating making a short little letter to go in our cards this year - but then 75% of the news is about me so then I feel weird because h didn't have enough momentous stuff happen.

I still don't know what we're doing on Christmas day. We'll go back to my hometown, but I'm not sure what relative is hosting lunch/dinner yet. I do know that I'm getting together with some of my cousins this Sunday in Seattle, but other than that no set plans.
My dad is trying to use others to guilt trip me this Christmas season. Allegedly I should feel horrible for not talking to a self-absorbed, toxic asshole.

I think I either have food poisoning or some kind of flu. Thank goodness for a mommy who picked up D from school today. I'm in bed while the boys watch curious George.

Not the exact one I got but it looks the same to me lol

I bought one of those one year for H as I was tired of watching him try to pull his arm up in to his sleeve and then pinch the sleeve around his hand while he scraped ice. I just recently asked him what happened to it and he said it fell apart after only a few uses So, I bought his somewhere where they have all the same little weird men gifts on a tower (I've seen them at Sears and Fred Meyer off the top of my head) so don't get those. I think they're one of those items MSRP as $19.99 but ALWAYS on sale for $9.99
I might make note of that one you linked dana86, you say it lasted well until he lost it?
ha! I know it's silly, but I was thinking maybe stocking stuffer - she has to park on the street and goes to work early in the morning so I feel like this could be useful!

I think she said he had one, but lost it (didn't mention what kind) and then found this one. I just looked and the reviews are iffy

That's what I was going through yesterday. I hope you are better soon.
I cried reading Christmas cards at the store today to send to our parents. Yup, officially home sick after not living there in almost 7 years.
As much as I love to cook, I'm in a rut. I bought most of our meat/main protein components already cooked from the butcher this weekend so all I had to do is reheat and add a side dish.

Yeah, I have no clue what he had before his dad got it for him and he lost it at some point but he always said how great it was so I just went and found a simple one. It's a stocking stuffer so if it doesn't last forever it's ok I can get another one next year lol

I'm pretty sure that hell has just frozen over. My mom has not mentioned kids yet. And then last night I called Betty over and she sat there staring at me and didn't move. Then my mom called her over and she went right over! And then my mom was petting her for a while.
