Stop being so pretty!!
I'm lying on the couch with a blanket and a box of tissues. Andrew is being a champ and entertaining himself. BUT, I managed to procure a babysitter AND a designated driver for a party on the 27th. I'm very excited. My day wasn't a complete waste.
Tonight is the kids' Christmas program at daycare. I have no idea how this is going to go, so it'll be interesting. At least now we'll see the reason Caleb's been wandering around the room for a week singing, "Oh Kissmas twee, oh Kissmas twee!"
One of my best friends bought me a ticket to a band that we both loved in college for a concert in March! I'm so excited to visit her in Boston in a few months!

I drank wine at lunch. I literally do not think my child stopped talking all day long. This is no joke. She wouldn't shut up. I was trying to get our packing finished, and she wouldn't stay out from under my feet.

Boston you say? Iiiiinteresting
My brother moved to Brookline. How far is that from you? Is that in the same side of the Boston burbs as you are? I don't know anything about Boston, lol.

No Brookline is like, where non poor people who live in Boston live lol. Best school system around! I think it's where devonpow lives actually
Caleb took one look at dinner (chicken corn chowder) and ran out of the kitchen shouting, "No! I don't like it!" Mind you, it's the first time I've ever made it.
Then, during dinner, Abby asked him if he wanted to go back to school. He was already upset over being given milk in a glass, rather than apple juice in a sippy, and this set him over the edge. There's no way he's going to let us drop him off with his teachers and walk away this evening.
I'm feeling way off this week. Not sick, just tired and sort of off. And H is traveling. I think it's gonna be a caillou and leftovers night at our house.
I'm worried I'll go and be like "hi I'm the new mom! Yeaaaahhhhh WINEEEE" and they will all give me side eyes
That's the brilliance of the whole thing. Bring it as a hostess gift. If she's rude and doesn't open it up for everybody, grab the flask out of your purse and take a shot.
