So I am ordering a few gifts online today and I was holding off on ordering this Astrid doll for A (she absolutely loves Astrid from HTTYD). I had it on my Amazon wishlist for awhile, and this plush Astrid doll was around $30. I finally decide hell with it and I'll order it today. It is now priced at $130.

Amazon pisses me off with that. It's not like a box store that just moves the prices from "sale" to manufacturer suggested retail, they jack ish up near all Holidays, especially Christmas!

I still have no idea what to get my 7 year old DS. His list: a dog, and XBOX one and a 3DS. Sorry, you're not getting any of those, kid. Ugh. To make things worse, he has been so good lately - he's a great kid usually - but he's been above and beyond lately. I'm worried he's going to be heartbroken.

A robot dog? Our 6 year old saw this at Target (different color) and really wanted it.
I'm mostly done. I have one more gift to get Jackson (from my aunt) and I may pick up a few things that go with their various gifts + stocking stuffers. I really need to figure out what is coming from Santa for Jackson.
But I just finished the rest of my list 5 minutes ago, thank you Amazon prime.
I also decided to buy myself some gifts. Every year my husband does shitty last minute shopping for me, and I mostly don't care as we don't really even exchange gifts (he's a terrible gift giver and I'm a shopaholic, I'd rather just have him let me buy things I want throughout the year). But in the past year or two the kids have felt like they wanted to get gifts for us, so I make an effort to find a few things for my husband that they can give him. Without fail, though, he leaves doing this for me from them for the last minute and doesn't have time to order something or take them out. So on Tuesday when I was getting my cousin's combo grad/Christmas gift, I ordered myself a new pair of earrings and an inexpensive handbag I'd had my eye on (it's a gold tote, so I didn't want to spend too much on something gold - anyway, perfect gift from the kids).
Target still hasn't shipped something I ordered 12/1. I saw it in store the other day and need to go pick one up (FH was with me and it's a present for him)
I am in a world of hurt. The boys are done (just need to take A out to pick something for J), but I have nothing for my mother or grandmother. They moved from a house to an apartment earlier this year and have way too much stuff in no space. I feel like I've over-done experience gifts for my mom the last few years, plus they're always delayed. I'll probably end up with something for mom to open & a later shopping trip, and books and sweats for grandma. Blerg.
downtoearth I was able to find the doll a little cheaper ($75) but I resisted and got the costume instead for only $20. Thanks for the help!
$75 is still ridiculous if the doll sells for like $30, but I'm impressed by your MM moment just 8 days from Christmas. I'm glad I could help a little.

Oh I totally agree. I saw it on ebay for $45 but she will be just as thrilled with the costume.
So now all I have to worry about it my nieces and nephew, my mom, and my sister. They are all getting taken care of tomorrow. DH and I haven't decided if we are buying gifts for each other yet.
I need to get presents for my parents and H from the girls. Also a couple little things for DD2 (3). DD1 is getting quite a bit of jewelry, but there isn't really an equivalent for a 3yo.

Me. I have to buy for my niece (see my other post), and my nephew that we're seeing on Sunday. We're going to get nephew a book, and niece Goldie Blox and the Parade Float.
I still want to get DH a couple more things like a Flash tee shirt and some stocking stuffers.
I haven't bought anything for my kids yet. I'm screwed.
I was thinking about you earlier this week and wondering if you had figured out what you were going to do. I know you have an unusual situation though. I'm sire whatever you figure out will be just fine.

thx!! my plan is to just get small things here. We got a Lego train that we left in korea so I just need to get stocking stuffers. I just need a day that isn't filled with appointments and visiting people so I can get something done! Magically I've found plenty of time to buy clothes for myself. Weird how that is.
