I don't think he did it anymore. I have no explanations that answer the questions like how Jay could have known where Hae's car was (obviously) but I am voting innocent - maybe I just want him to be innocent though (probably the case).

I have a hard time thinking he wasn't involved somehow. I still can't understand how you don't have some recollection of what you were doing when you found out your (recently) ex girlfriend was discovered missing. And I don't think I buy the serial killer idea because of the question about how Jay would know where her car/body were. And if Jay were involved but Adnan was completely innocent I'd think Adnan would be a lot more angry with Jay than he seems.
My theory? Both Jay and Adnan were involved. Maybe Jay did the actual killing and Adnan just helped, maybe vice versa. Or maybe there were both there when she was killed. But Adnan can't implicate Jay without admitting his involvement, and he doesn't want to have his family or community think of him as a killer.
All that said, based on the evidence SK presented (which of course could be very different than how it was presented in court) I wouldn't have found him guilty.

I think Adnan had more motive than anyone else. Sarah pointed out that Hae's journal said Don and Adnan met in mid December, before Don and Hae were together. Since Adnan and Hae had broken up before, maybe Adnan thought they'd get back together again this time. He does seem really nice and pretty chill, but I think that type of person can be more likely to snap. Like they bottle everything up until it blows. Very weird that he didn't bother calling her after she disappeared, too. Though since neither of their parents wanted them involved with each other, I can get that. Also weird that Don didn't call her. Probably more weird than Adnan not calling. I mean Don loved her and all (after 13 days, lol).
I don't think he should have been convicted, based on the lack of evidence. I'm not sold he did it, but I could see it happening. And clearly Jay and Adnan are both lying about some things.

I still think Not Guilty. I wonder how the jury was able to ignore some of the evidence to get a guilty verdict. I suspect that Adnan and Jay were both involved in Hae's death, but I still struggle with motive.

This is where I'm at and I think he did it.
I was nodding right along with the "logical/Dr. Spock" explanation.

I think "not guilty" but I'm not going to go so far as innocent. But to be honest, Jay is shady as fuck. He threw out his clothes and boots. He knew where the car was. His shovels. He admitted to helping bury the body. I don't think it was a serial killer, though. That's just too convenient.

I think Adnan is probably innocent. If he thought there was any possibility his DNA would be on Hae, I don't think he would have given the OK to have the samples tested. If he were really guilty but falsely clinging to his "I didn't do it" story, I don't think he'd risk having more evidence against him.
Jay was definitely involved, otherwise his story makes no sense at all. My guess is he did it either alone or with Jen. The serial killer idea makes no sense to me, because of Jay's connection.
I'll be interested to see if they only test the DNA against Adnan and the database, or if they somehow test it against Jay, too.

all we know 100% is that jay is involved. He knew where the car was hidden. He had the phone that pinged off the leaken (leakin?) park tower. Shovels were his. He threw out his clothes and boots. No proof linking Adnan to the case.
I think Jay or Don did it. Finding out that Don's alibi was work - but his MOM was his boss - sealed it for me. No way Adnan should be in prison. How easy would it have been for Don to ask his mom to clock in/out for him? And the fact that after Hae went missing, Adnan didn't try to contact her really bothered me. Except Don didn't either!!!
OK so DNA question. It sounded like they have gotten a petition to test the DNA against that serial killer. Is the idea that they will just run anything they find through a database and even if it's not the serial killer, maybe they'll hit on Jay or Adnan? Like finally get some physical evidence? Or is this really just limited to testing against the incredibly low chance that this serial killer was involved?
I can't imagine they wouldn't run in through databases they have. What a waste of money if they just ran it against the dead serial killer.
