I'm trying to decide what color to use for the walls. We are doing a monster theme and using orange, green, and blue with some splashes of red. I'll attach some stuff I pinned. As cute as the bright orange or green nurseries are, I don't think I could actually go that "in your face" bold. Crib and dresser are white if that matters.

I'd maybe do a light blue? Like an icy color? I might be in the minority but I think the darker brighter colors might be too much paired with all the monster stuff.

Yes, that's my thought too. I don't want bold and bright. But I wasn't sure which color to lighten up and use. A light blue, light green, or a light orange.
I'd go with a light to medium blue color. The bold colors are too much for me and I think a more neutral blue will grow with him better over the years.
I would do a really light blue. Really light. Although with all the other colors I would probably do a khaki. I am scared of color though. I am always afraid I will get tired of it and it won't match if I change up the room.
I actually like this idea a lot, or grey. It would make the other colors really pop!
All my walls are already khaki. Boring!
I like the idea of blue, but is it weird I want something different for Logan because Peyton's room is going to be painted a light blue?
Light blue or tan/beige would work well! We had light blue in B's room in the old house and it was very adaptable. We've never repainted the walls in the house and they're beige. It actually goes nicely with just about everything and lets bolder colors in pictures and decorations really pop.
I like navy walls or if Wes really loves you he could do a striped wall like this
Lol! I'm the handy man in the house, such reversed rolls in this house. I'll leave him to the cooking and dishes while I handle the paint.
But seriously I fell in love with that third one you attached. I'm may not even do the ceiling, but just the painted blue header alone I absolutely love.
We have a monster nursery! My walls are navy, which would look great with white furniture which we don't have. I have Kelly green accents, with some orange and lighter blue. I will post pics when I get home today.
I like these colors but would do a gray, griege or a beige on the walls. I think statement colors look better in a room as accessories/paintings/drapery with neutral walls... And the monsters will pop out more.
The pictures make the walks look a lot darker, but I like dark walls for bedrooms and sleeping. It would be so cute with white furniture but this is what we had already. Ignore the chevron chair, it is supposed to be switched with a rocker at some point.
It looks great!! I'm not a huge navy fan, but I still love it. I really like chevron too. And lol and the photobomb dog. Thanks for sharing!
