Those that did a FET (or IVF) recently - estrogen patches

I have my meds list, but haven't ordered. It looks like the most expensive thing will be the estrogen patches. If you payed OOP, where did you get them? I think I can get one box/month covered by insurance, but I need about one gazillion of them. Also, I am remembering how crazy my backside looked with all the IM track marks and sticky patches. I can't wait to go through that again

I ordered all my meds from Freedom but got PIO at a local pharmacy. It was super cheap bc it was the one thing I could run thru insurance since not considered fertility. So make sure to check that.

I did several fertility treatments but didn't use the estrogen patch. However, if you haven't already done it I'd suggest talking to your clinic. They may have a recommendation on a good source for cheap OOP way to get the meds you need.

I haven't priced out anything yet, my guess is just based on a quick Google search. I haven't called any pharmacies yet. Did you use patches before transfer? I will be using a lot - close to 30 patches before transfer. Also, the Rx is for progesterone is ethyl oleate, which I haven't done before. I believe it's more expensive, but thinner than oil. I'll be starting Lupron (ugh) mid-January. Just started OCPs!

They recommended Walgreens. I thought I had priced them out 3 years ago and wasn't impressed, but a lot can change. I even had a spreadsheet

I never used the patches. I did the very glamorous three pills up the vag a day estrogen.

Same here! I also had progesterone I put up there at the same time. One was blue and one was yellow. I had green Dr. Seuss discharge.
