My lines all but disappeared for about four days, and I started bleeding, so I thought it was a chemical. My first beta was so low (I think it was 124 at 20 DPO) that my doctor wasn't terribly optimistic, but said she'd been doing this long enough that she knew to never say never.
L is six months old. (((hugs))) and hang in there until you have some definitive medical answers.
I freaked out every time I thought a test was lighter. I literally had a week's worth of tests on the back of my toilet.
I'm 25 weeks pregnant.
Sending thoughts for huge beta numbers.
Did they get lighter like this?
I can't stop crying right now
They did. I had multiple freak outs. And tested until about 16 weeks. Some tests just end up shorter on the dye than others. I totally understand the emotions.
(Also, just as an aside, my first beta was 19. Two days later I doubled to a whopping 55.)
Please don't worry! I think this morning's test looks about the same as yesterday's 7am test. I agree that yesterday's 6pm test looks the darkest, but there could be a plenty of reasons for that: that test could have had more dye (even if they are from the same box--quality control is not perfect); your urine could have been more concentrated then (my afternoon tests were often darker than FMU ones, contrary to conventional wisdom); differences in lighting; more pee on that one; etc. I took a test that was definitely lighter than the day before with DS2 (and subsequently freaked out and told DH I was loosing the baby), and everything was fine.
Regardless, today's line looks like a nice, strong positive and the kind of line I would expect at 14 dpo. There is no reason to think anything is wrong based on the picture you posted.
I really think everything will be okay. Good luck!
Just wanted to give you hugs. I do think the level of dye varies in each test, so I don't think it's a good comparison from test to test. Fingers crossed for your betas!!
I'm so sorry you're feeling bad about this. Hopefully it's just a fluke in the test (with the amount of dye, urine, etc).
As someone who tested 1-2times a day from BFP to the first u/s, I definitely know the stress of analyzing each one. I had a day fairly early on where one line was significantly lighter. I was so sure I was doomed, but then the lines got darker again. I'll see if you can still see it on mine (yes, I still have them all a year later like a complete crazy lady) and show you the difference.
If you have a positive pee stick today, then your beta will definitely be positive. Lots, and lots, and lots of good thoughts for a huge rise on Monday to ease your worries. Hang in there.

Thinking of you farmvillelover. I really don't think those lines are indicative of anything but a positive, but I hate that you are sad and worried about it.
Sending you many hugs and thoughts. I'm clearly not an expert but the darkness of my tests in no way correlated to my beta numbers - after my first and second beta the REs nurse was like, you should probably not write multiples off...I laughed because my tests were not dark at all. Then that nurse was probably laughing at me 2 weeks later at my u/s
I would bet that not all tests, even if from the same box, end up with the same amount of dye because with a pregnancy test a line is a line, versus with an ovulation test where the line has to be darker than the control.
I think it looks great for 14dpo. I've never even gotten a positive till 13dpo and my chemical was so much lighter than any you've posted. Thinking good thoughts for you!
Thinking of you and sending lots of good luck wishes your way. I know it's easier said than done, but try to relax. We are all here for you and sending our love.
I honestly thought line darkness didn't matter. The tests measure presence of bHCG, not quantity of bHCG.
Either way, I'm sorry you are feeling nervous and down. Hoping all works out well and wishing you a sense of peace while you wait for Monday's results.
Hugs. It is all such a mindfuck when you have TTTC and/or losses. I know the feeling you have in your stomach right now. I know that darker line would have eased your worries a little bit, but try to remember that you can't rely on that as a true gauge.

I know nothing I say will help you worry less, but I think those lines are still good. Right now, you are pregnant and we are all hoping, praying and crossing everything we've got that it stays that way. I hope you get another dark line that can ease a little of your worry. Good luck!
I'm sorry you are worried, I hate this part. But please know the darkness of the lines is not necessarily a good indicator of what will happen. My lines were very faint with the girls and I remember telling H I thought I was going to have an early miscarriage because my lines seemed to get lighter. Instead I had twins.
I hope you get really good news Monday and thst your beta rises nicely! I'll be thinking of you.

I have no experience with this, but I hope it's just one of those things, and everything turns out great. ((((Hugs)))) and tons of good thoughts coming your way.
The lines look really good to me. I'll keep you in my thoughts and send lots of hugs (I am new here so that's probably creepy but I am sending hugs anyways).
