My 14dpo positive tests have never been dark. I don't think it being darker is really a reliable test of pregnancy. Different tests could show different amounts of dye or react slightly different. Try not to stress.

I freaked out every time I thought a test was lighter. I literally had a week's worth of tests on the back of my toilet.

I'm 25 weeks pregnant.

I mean all those are different lighting. So hard to tell. I would still say a line is a line and my 14dpo tests have never been dark. Heck with DS they were negative. I know it is so hard, but you are going to drive yourself crazy. I think i would just wait for your beta today.

Are you comparing this line to the previous tests the same time period out? I think tests get darker the older they are, so compating a fresh one a few days old may be misleading.

I tested obsessively after getting a BFP before my beta too, and I think I had one line that was lighter than the previous, and I worried too, so I totally get where you are coming from. My beta was fine though, and it doubled perfectly, so who knows what was going on with that one test. Your pee could have just been more diluted this morning, or maybe you didn't get as much urine on the stick as other times.

Good luck this morning, I'll be praying for a nice strong beta that doubles on Monday!

I just have to come back in here. Please farmer, don't cry. You are making me cry. I'm on edge for you now. The darkness doesn't mean anything. I was obsessing like that too and it did no good because the beta was the only real way to know.
I remember crying while I was getting my first beta because I was sure it would be negative. I was so worried. I get it.

Aw hon. I still think a line is a line, because my sticks never got darker with DD. But our experiences were obviously very different.

So?  There is clearly more dye on the indicator line of the first.   I would really try not to get worked up.  My lines definitely fluctuated in the beginning.  eta:  not to say I'm not sending you good vibes, I just hate to hear that you're going to have such a long weekend waiting.

I did this too, I totally get it, my pee just was more diluted on the lighter tests it seems because after both my successful transfers I had darker and lighter FRERs but great betas.

Oh farmer I'm sorry you're feeling sad I think that line looks very good and it's a strong pink line. After going through all the IVFs I did and the 6 years of squinting at sticks, I get it. Nothing will make you feel better until the betas. Fingers crossed the betas support that dark line.
