How about that time on Friday night when an unmarked van drove up our 1/4 mile wooded driveway at 11pm. Two guys got out, seemingly wandered around while I punched 911 on my phone with my finger hovering over call and was debating which child to save first, then got back in the van and sped off. Once we stopped shaking, dh turned on the porch and there was a FedEx package. JFC, they could have been killed for doing something like that around here. I should call and complain, right?
My child has become a wonder week demon child. She was up constantly last night, to the point where I gave up and brought her to our bed, which was only marginally better but at least I got to be horizontal. Then she woke up at 6, DH took her but all she did was cry and whine. He put her down for her usual morning nap a just before leaving for the gym and she barely last 20 minutes. She screams if one of us isn't sitting with her.
We leave for 4 days tomorrow. 6 hour road trip and staying with a friend who has two kids. Of course this wonder week hits now. .
It is 710 and C is STILL SLEEPING after STTN for the second night in a row, third time in her life. Please please please let this be a new trend! In addition, I normally nurse her to sleep but last night she was just rolling around chatting after she nursed so I tossed her in the crib to see what would happen. She whined a couple times and then...fell asleep. It can't possibly be this easy, right? Something's gonna go haywire soon.
Today I am going to make Christmas treats and go see Annie with a friend from work. I am excited for movie popcorn.

I've seen this around here, I was stunned. On the side of the van it said helping FedEx/UPS. If I remember last year there was a big issue about people not getting packages in time.
Yesterday's, UPS delivery had two people. One drop off our package and the truck kept going and stopped at a house down the street.
But yes, I would have been scared if I was you! 11:00 pm at night!
Having some coffee and then digging into the holiday baking! We have zero plans this weekend so it's all wrapping, baking, organizing existing toys etc. and avoiding illness.

Did you try Advil? That's usually my next step when she just seems pissed at the world. Sometimes I think teeth can bother them before they poke through, moving around and stuff. IME, wonder week shenanagans rarely pissed her off like that.
That's a good idea. I only have Tylenol at home so I will pick some up. It could totally be a tooth, I don't know why I didn't consider that.
We have Christmas with mil (who insists on coming from 1130 to 3, even though o naps 1 to 3 and we're not skipping nap).. We have my work Christmas party tonight and it's going to be so fun!!
I have the flu. Like legit influenza. My 2.5 year old have it to me. He's better, thank goodness. I'm just hoping the baby doesn't get it because I feel like death and I can't imagine how awful she would feel.
Me and N are watching frozen while eating breakfast.
H stayed up playing his new ps4 all night, and is laying in bed watching tv now. THIS is why I didnt want him to get another Playstation.
My cookies did not turn out so great last night. I am tempted to skip the party; partly because of the cookies, partly because my face is gross and I am embarrassed about it and I can't even cover it up with makeup.

My neighbor was boxing & blasting music at 730 this morning. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but it's so loud its like he's in my house. I'm plotting ways to disturb his peace.
He boxed through 45 minutes of DD's bday party last weekend.. Our guests were like WTF is that? It's loud.. and obnoxious.
We only have today and tomorrow left at Disney, and I'm already sad. DD is having so much fun here, and we've loved having so much obligation-free time with her. I'm so tempted to book the bounce back offer even though A) another trip next year is not in the budget, and B) we have no idea how the new baby will sleep, travel, etc, so it just seems like a bad idea. But I WANT to do it.
I'm up at 7am to mix up some cookie dough that needs to be refrigerated for 4 hours before being made into cookies. A girlfriend is hosting a cookie baking party this afternoon for about 5 of us. I predict ridiculousness and not enough oven space, so i thought I'd jump ahead a bit.
You guys, tomorrow is the winter solstice! Which means the days start getting longer in two more sleeps!
And how about that time I dropped the eggshell in a running mixer with some cookie dough 45 mins before leaving for a cookie swap brunch. I got about 99% of it out. I hope no lurkers are attending I should really just go back to bed.

It is supposed to be DS's birthday party today. He woke up crying at 2:30 which is unusual so I went in to check on him and sat with him in the rocker. He puked all over me and himself 2 minutes later.
He just now woke up at 9am, so I feel doubtful we will be having any party today.
I made an early run to Trader Joes and it wasn't too crazy. MH is hanging out with done friends today. I'm going to attempt to make cookie dough. I know DS will love helping.
After calling three stores, #4 has the jersey J wants for Christmas (replica of the speshul jerseys Ohio State is wearing for the Sugar Bowl...FUCK YEAH. Shipments came in Thurs and the other stores were sold out already. I want to announce it to the FB world but I can't because J will see.

Now I don't know what to do...he appears to be fine. There is a chance what he ate last night upset his stomach. We went straight from daycare out to a Christmas light display so I packed a PBJ and applesauce. He ate 1/2 the sandwhich and all the applesauce. Then we had to change his diaper so we bought some frozen yogurt so we could use the bathroom and he ate some of that. Then when we got home he asked for yogurt and I stupidly gave it to him. That's a lot of sweet stuff.
