My standard order is a salad, extra lettuce, chicken (easy on the chicken-they scoop in WAY too much), a little white rice, half a scoop of black beans, grilled peppers, mild salsa, a small scoop of sour cream (again their normal scoopful looks about 1/3 cup.) cheese, extra lettuce on top. You HAVE to get the dressing. The dressing makes the salad and they try to scam people out of getting it for some reason. Be sure to ask for it. It adds the necessary kick to make the salad have flavor and spice.
Ditto, everything. The only things I don't like are the hot salsa (too hot for me) and actual burritos, as I find them too messy to eat and you don't have enough control over ingredient distribution. A big bite of onion is no fun. Bowls are my favorite, followed by crunchy tacos, although I only get those when we're eating there because the juice tends to soak through the shells on the ride home.
This is my standard order: Bowl with brown rice, fajita veggies, black beans, steak, mild and corn salsas, cheese and lettuce. I get sour cream as a side because they put too much on, even when you ask for only a little. Plus then you can dip your chips in it. Oh, we also get a side of chips and guac most of the time.
ETA: I also sometimes get a salad, which for me only involves replacing the rice with lettuce and keeping everything else the same, but I wouldn't recommend that for you today. Go big for your first time.
I ask for "no juice" with my beans so they let the juice run out of the slotted spoon before placing it in the tacos.
I used to be a burrito bowl devotee but I've recently discovered their hard tacos and they are the best.
