Personal: - be rid of these 15lbs of post-baby emotional eating (DD is 2 years old!) - continue to work on bringing my life into balance. Not let my awful Boss Lady dictate my emotional sanity and thus affect my marriage and parenting. - drop a minute off my mile time (which is currently 10 min+, so this is not crazy) - get a handle on what to do with our expanded finances. We've been waiting to figure out what H's average salary will be before deciding how to invest. Prepare yourselves for all kinds of investing questions, MM! - get pregnant after our Europe trip in June
Professional: - submit an article for publication in the state-wide professional journal by the end of Q1. - manage some big projects with grace - continue to seek other opportunities. - kick ass at teaching in the fall of 2015.
Personal: -keep sticking to low-carb eating & lose baby weight -start working out again ?? -have more sex with DH -avoid getting pregnant again -take trips both with and without baby -be as engaged as possible with DD & DH- more books & fun things, less TV in evenings, etc. -maintain levels of retirement savings & ramp up regular savings
Professional: -deal better with inter-office dynamics/politics -continue to take things off my boss's plate (that she took on while I was on ML) -bring in new business if possible -be more intentional about long and short term goal setting
- organize our house (better define our "system") - focus on only buying items we love, and weed out what we don't use - foster relationships with friends, new and old
