Dana, that's totally how I felt when everyone was doing it earlier. In my mind, I was like aww that's nice, good fitting bras sound nice, but mine are ok now.
Nope. IMO my boobs look a hell of a lot better in shirts than they did before. I looked at myself in the mirror with my ill fitting bra on, then I put on the correctly sized bra, put my shirt back on and I was like, oh, that back boob thing isn't supposed to be there? My shirt looked a lot better over the correct sized bra.
It really made a world of difference.
Also? The Nordstrom sale is going on now and I found some that I liked for $30 and some other ones for $40.
This. I felt the same way the first time I got fitted. I was wearing a 34A and I got fitted at a 32C!.. I really should go again because my 32 C's feel too small.
The more you guys talk about it the more I'm convinced I need to do it. I just hate spending money on things no one else can see lol
I can totally see/tell when someone is wearing a bra that doesn't fit them...even more so now that I have been fitted. Hahah. Every now and then I am like.....wow that girl needs to go have a bra fitting. lol.
you guys all make me want to get new bras. but i'm nursing and have ever changing bewbies right now, and i don't think it's the right time to get measured!

It's really really important to have good fitting bras when you're nursing. Bad fit = supply issues, plugged ducts, and other assorted ick.
Go to nordstrom (they have nursing bras in the back, just not out on the floor AND they will convert any bra to a nursing bra for ten bucks) or to Birth and Beyond.

...via mobile.
i haven't had any supply issues or any other problems so far *knock on wood* and i know my nursing bras are both too big and too small (just don't have the *right* size).
i've heard negative things about the nordstrom nursing bra conversions--all they do is add an hook/eye attachment and that is it. there's nothing that keeps the strap from disappearing behind you once you unsnap.
