So, I'm attempting to update my winter look a bit from the boot cut jeans and flats look I've been rocking for years.
DH is getting me riding boots (actually a delayed birthday present), and I'm going to get some skinny jeans (probably the AE jeggings?). I might be brave and buy some leggings.
But where the heck do I buy shirts long enough to cover my ass? I just went to Kohl's and Nordstrom Rack. Nothing. I don't want all sweaters because it's rarely sweater weather here. Where should I look? Anthropologie? Loft? Regular Nordstrom?
I buy shirts at ON and Gap in tall length. I am 5'6" with long arms and short legs for my height so they are maybe a half inch too long in the sleeves for l/s shirts but otherwise fit me well. I've gotten tunics from Target, Loft, Dress Barn. The Bobeau wraps this year are longer and thinner material (at least the new color I bought) so I pair with skinnies or leggings and a long t-shirt or tank.
That sweater is awesome with leggings or jeans. It runs a bit big (I am a small up top in most stores and I needed an x-small and it's nice and flowy still)

I have a long torso, so most actual tunics barely skim my butt, if that. I generally buy petite dresses from Old Navy; those usually work perfectly for me.
Also if you need a leggings rec I bought some Hue brand ones on sale earlier this week. Wore them today and I love them. They're thick so I'm not worried about seeing things, tight fitting but not a$$ tight and just generally more "adult." The leggings also have pockets so if shirts just barely hit it's not too big a deal. I got so many compliments. I wore my ON chambray shirt and a Gap striped tank and both were just long enough.
