Also, the associations very friendly groundskeeper/head maintenance guy was chatting me up earlier, it was a mix of "he is so friendly & oh my gosh, does he watch me through my window at night". Of course he knocked in my door a million times and I had to answer looking like hell (no bra, yet to brush teeth, he can see into my messy home as I was tidying.)
I almost murdered Patrick this morning. I cleaned the whole house yesterday, and waited until he had trimmed his hair to deep clean the bathroom. He woke up this morning and I hear the clippers going. Wtf, dude?! Keep your tiny hairs on your head, not on the sink, in the bathtub, or all over the damn floor. I vacuumed while he was taking a bath, because it was pissing me off, know they were there, and I can hear the clippers on again. I'm going to kill him.
Let me know if you need an alibi.... ;0) I can provide.
I had my 37 week appt with my OB this morning. I'm actually very frustrated and annoyed. With Madison, they missed the fact that she was breech and so she was a semi-emergency c-section. I have scheduled a RCS with 2.0 for various reasons but if go into labour before, I might try to VBAC. BUT...I want to make sure this baby isn't breech. He felt my stomach and said baby is head down. Ummmmm...that's exactly what you said last time! And I saw in my chart this baby was breech at my anatomy scan. FFS.
Also, I'm measuring small and this is causing them no concern whatsoever. I'm beyond livid. I see a different OB in the practice next week and I'm going to make sure she addressed my issues.

This happened to my friend! After 25 hours of labor! I'm sorry you have to be worried about it too.
My OB has ultrasounds in the office and will do a quick positional check around 38 weeks. By quick, I literally mean about 30 seconds. Is that an option or would you need to get referred out or something?

There is a machine right there in the office which is why I'm so freaking annoyed that he wouldn't just check.
I'm sorry rxbeth I would be annoyed too. H was breech and this baby is too at 34 weeks. At my appointment today the doctor said if you've had one baby who is breech subsequent babies are more likely to be as well. I would definitely make them make sure of position at your next appointment!

And I just got my first post m/c period. It's sort of bittersweet. I'm glad my cycle is back to normal but it's just another reminder of what we lost. Ugh.

Yeah, I'm so freaking frustrated. Everyone who I have every heard who has had a breech baby, even as early as the A/S, has had subsequent ultrasound and their OB made such a big deal about it. Not mine. And they kept palpating me with Madison and saying she was head down (I didn't know any better) until I was 3-4 cm and when he did the internal, he felt the butt. Ugh.
And if this baby is breech, it will just justify my effing RCS.

Daycare is having Polar Express day today. I wasn't sure if this meant pjs or not, so I put pjs in her backpack. Mh texted me earlier saying "thank god you put pjs in her bag bc she peed through her jeans. We are the black sheep of that place." And now I just feel bad. I hope she's wearing pjs with everyone else. I feel like I'm always dropping the ball there and I look like a bad mom.
Eta: it is pj day, I just hope they changed her into hers. I wish I didn't have to be at work worrying if my kid is wearing pjs. Sigh.
You are fine! We are those people too but they love us anyways. I had to start D a week early with 30minute notice and we showed up without her shoes...and we have tons of similar stories.
Bonus #1 to my mom and sister finding out I'm pregnant. I am hosting my sister's shower on the 1st and wasn't getting any help, which nbd but it's over 30 people so kind of overwhelming. Anyways they found out I'm pregnant and now my mom and 2 other bridesmaids are helping! I'm so glad my mom took over the cake, they want a Batman cake, and I was finding it impossible to find an affordable, not too childish, Batman cake.

I'm starving and found some Airhead candy in my desk at work from Halloween. The flavor is "White Mystery" and it looks gross but I'm eating it anyway.
rxbeth Did he say anything about checking for sure at 38 weeks? Did you remind him for the first situation with Madison's emergency C-section? Hopefully he is right this time!
He did not. He seems confident. I don't even see him next week, I see a dif OB. I did remind him. Doesn't seem to matter.

MY SISTER IS COMING HOME TONIGHT! I'm so freaking excited! She's skipped her senior year of high school and joined the Marines at 17. I haven't seen her since September and I miss her terribly.
Why did I procrastinate on the quilt I am making my sister for Christmas?! 48 hours until we open presents and I just started quilting the top and back together...it won't be as nice as I want it to be and that's annoying me.

How creepy would it be for me to go to my old house and pick up a package that was delivered there?
I am super bummed. We ordered my Mom and ornament and they delivered it to my billing address... which I know I should have updated but the website wouldn't let me.
