Mine has been up twice in the last two nights, which she hasn't done in 6 mos. She recently got her last canine, so I don't think it's teeth. She goes right back down, so it's not super irritating yet, but I have no problem sleep training again if we need to.
I've been lamenting the same thing. It's been about once a week to every 10 days for AJ. No advice really-I've been getting him up and giving Motrin because it could be teeth, followed by snuggles. But he's always pissed when I put him back down. If it starts to look like a sleep regression I'll make him CIO but he's been so upset when he's woken up that I feel bad for him

J was up at 4:30 this morning and nothing we did helped him go back to sleep. I think he's teething, but when I decided he could get out of his crib at 5:50, he rocketed out and was SUPER awake. Lord help me if this child starts getting up at this time daily. I just can't.
Our 18m regression wasn't that (we just had taking FOREVER to go to bed), but I think hermione had the MOTN party wake-ups.
We did indeed have MOTN parties. I knew it wasn't teeth because she wasn't at all upset. She literally just wanted to hang out, visit with us, and play. NO, CHILD, NO!

Same boat here--waking up MOTN and wanting to party. I think it's a combo of the sleep regression and the pedi said he's cutting 4 teeth. He also just learned to walk and is having a languae explosion and has a cold. So, nights are fun around here.

We're here too! My darling cherub was yelling about wanting a bottle MOTN - I think we are going to finally have to give those up. We should probably have done that oh, 6 months ago or so anyway.
We went through a regression at like 16-17 months but I think it was more likely just separation anxiety, which my lazy butt solved by giving him a sippy a few times because DH was away and it worked. Then he got into a habit of waking up and wanting a sippy which I then had to break. Anyway I can usually tell by the cry what the deal is. Also since he sleeps on the floor, he pounds on the door when he misses me, but when he's sad or in pain he just lays there and cries.
I'd suspect teething, too - and continue medicating as appropriate. DS was a giant turd in the punch bowl last month for about a week. Lo and behold, 2nd molar finally popped through.
He's been back in major turd territory for the last 36 hours, so I assume we're working on molar #2.
DS has woken about 1-2x per week for the past few weeks. His K9's are moving again. Every few days they seem to move, and some days I think maybe he's experiencing pressure/discomfort in the MOTN. Teeth always seem to bug him more in bed, than when he's up.
A few of the nights he's woken, though, he's just been really upset. A tight hug, back rub, and placing him back into his crib have helped. He sleepily looks at me, I give him a grin, whisper I love him, he smiles, and rolls over then back to sleep. My only guess in that instance is a bad dream.
