I may fly down with DS for a long weekend within the next couple of months, and would need a pack and play. We're staying with my single cousin. I rarely fly down to see her, so I don't want to purchase even a cheapie from Amazon and have it shipped. She would have to manage donating it, which would be a hassle. Most of her friends are single, so I'm not sure I could borrow one from any of them. DS won't sleep with me. He really needs his own space.
Anyone Nestie friends live down there and might be willing to let me borrow one? She lives in Carrboro, and works in works for UNCCH.
It's all up in the air. But the lack of a pack and play is one of the reasons I haven't taken him for a visit, yet. A stupid logistic that has me dragging my feet.
Call them up and ask if they have any sort of a bed for a baby/toddler and if you can have them put it aside for you. Let them know you only need it for a few days, they might be willing to give you a discount.
