K has been having blowouts and I was tired of it so I used cloth diapers on Saturday and liked them. Unfortunately her new DCP won't use them. I have 5 I think, not quite enough to get through one day. Is it worth it to buy more to just use on weekends?

I'd buy some used ones from the Facebook groups or here. If you want to wash both days you can probably get away with 8 or so. If you just wanted to wash Sunday I'd get 16-18.

I looked but didn't see any for sale here right now. Can you tell me which FB groups to look for?

I use bumgenius so I'm in a bunch of their groups. Just search "bumgenius b/s/t" and you should find a few! You should be able to find pockets for $13 and freetimes for $15 if you keep an eye out.
It's up to you - if you're in it to save the planet or because they work better for you, then it's worth it. You won't likely save money doing it, but that's not why everyone uses cloth.
The ones I have and like are Sunbaby but they're older, before the size 1 and 2 came out. I was looking at Alva because they're fairly cheap and have some cute prints. Thanks!
I would have 12 diapers, do laundry every sunday night, and call it a day. I'd buy kawaii diapers and a dozen GMD prefolds (size small, to trifold) if she is peeing out of the microfiber. I'd also probably use disposables overnight.
We would've done weekend only if our DCP hadn't agreed to try the cloth.

Alva and sunbaby are my favorites for toddlers, kawaii are good too. We've been pretty much just cloth diapering on weekends for the past year. 10 seems to do it (we use disposables for nights and naps)

I would say yes. We only CD part-time (probably 60-75% of the time) and I think it's totally worth it. I still think it has saved us money (but I've also had 2 in diapers). And I mainly do it for the environment, so it's still very much worth it to me.
there is a big KC cloth group on FB. Kansas City Cloth Community I think.
I think weekends only would work well since you could just use them 2 days in a row then wash on Monday. PT CDs didn't work great for us when we were just using them sporadically during the week since we couldn't figure out a good wash schedule.
have you been to Itsy Bitsy Bums yet? If not you must!

Yes! That's where I got my Tula. I'm looking to be cheap about this though lol. I just ordered 10 from Alvababy. I'm sure it will take forever to ship but that should be plenty for two days along with the ones I already have.
