At 21 months he's still working on his K9s, but I think only the base has to cut through, now. I first started to feel them beneath the skin around 18 months? They started to cut at least 2 months ago, but are still partially hidden.
Thus far, canines have been worse (and he has at least one 2-year molar fully in already). Like, acute, writhing on the floor, horrible pain and tantrums with canines. Two year molars have been sort of a slow burn of whining, clinging, and drooling in phases. Annoying, but not the worst we've dealt with before.
He has one 2nd molar (bottom left) all the way in. CLEARLY working on the other one because we're in a similar pattern of straight-up asshole behavior that preceded his first one. I'd guess it was a month-long process but only noticeable (see above note about behavior) for about a week.
DS had recently started jamming his hands in his mouth so I'm guessing his molars have started coming in (or he has just been a crazy toddler). His canines broke through a while back but the lowers are still not all the way in yet.
He had zero at his dentist appt in sept at 23 months. He is 26.5 months now and is working on the last one! His one year molars took months to come in. Like 6-8 months. These were pretty quick.

I felt 3 bumps this weekend, so I guess we're starting at 23 months. Bummed to hear it takes months for these. She's been on the early side with teeth.
O was getting his last one at his 19 month appointment. They took about two months to come in. He's been teething for pretty much his whole life, I swear!
DS started cutting them at 20ish months I think, and they took about 2 months to fully come in. They didn't bother him NEARLY as much as his 1st year or canines.
E has been a pretty textbook teether, except I think his canines came in a bit early. And canines weren't too horrible for us. Not sure exactly when the two-year molars started, but I know he didn't have any at 24-25ish months. Then at some point three came through. A few weeks ago E started acting really fussy and talking about "ouchy mouth," so we looked and sure enough, he suddenly had three molars with the fourth working its way in. That's been the tough one--it's still pushing through. He's just about 27 months.
