I'd skip the prime stopping-at-Target-on-the-way-home-from-work hours if you possibly can. I was there this morning and it wasn't bad at all, but I'd bet good money that the parking lot is a zoo right now.

My H just left for the Outlets and then maybe King of Prussia mall. Poor guy :/
I feel for him. I know the mall in Exton wasn't horrible but everywhere around it was. I couldn't imagine going to KOP in the next week. The stores weren't horrible but driving around was a nightmare. I wanted to go to target but saw the lot and just kept going.

We were at the Exton Mall yesterday. It wasn't bad, but definitely crowded for the Exton Mall. He is a brave soul as he took our two little boys alone to KOP on Saturday. I avoid that place like the plaque on Saturdays no matter what season it is. 'Tis the season!

I went to Target this afternoon and, while it was busy, it was actually not horrible. I probably only spent 3 min waiting in line at the register. I feel like in the evening it'll be even better!
Now, traffic out on the roads was a whole different story....

It's all about managing your expectations. Don't expect it to go quickly, and you should be fine. I grab a coffee, shop, and settle in a checkout lane.
The mall of america was.....not good this afternoon. The lines at Old Navy were ridiculous and dumb 'ol me didn't try on the pants I bought and they are too small. Back I go tomorrow morning as soon as they open to exchange.

This is totally true! It helps a lot!
I went to target at 5pm yesterday and had a surprisingly good experience! I Had about 10 people tell me how cute DS's glasses are and ask about them (that's a pretty normal amount but they were mostly so nice and chatty), he was a tiny bit fussy in line so 2 people let me go ahead of them, then as I was loading the car (wearing him in the wrap) a guy offered to put a big box in for me and then another guy took my cart back to the store for me!
I went yesterday afternoon and it was surprisingly calm. People were pleasant, a lot of stuff was restocked. No long lines. And normally this Target is awful on a random day in June.
