Tonight is traditional wild rice soup for the women and children and oyster stew for the men folk, plus homemade rolls. And champagne. Chocolate fondue for desert after the children are snug in their beds.
Tomorrow were having ham and turkey and whatever million sides you serve to 25 people.
I haven't even thought about it yet. Yikes. It's just me and the kids tonight, so leftover ham and veggies? Cinnamon buns tomorrow am, snacky stuff here for lunch, and dinner at my parents.
I think we'll do appetizers for dinner and watch Christmas movies. Tomorrow is cinnamon rolls at home, followed by "breakfast" (it's at noon, so I am considering it lunch) at my parents' house: French toast, bacon, eggs. Then we'll have dinner at my aunt's: beef tenderloin, turkey and a million sides.
I got tasked with making seven-layer salad and I am not having a good morning sickness day. I am ready to vomit at all of this mayo I have to put in there. Only in the Midwest!
Tonight: turkey, ham, stuffing, random holiday-ish sides like corn casserole, green beans, broccoli and cheese, etc., Christmas cookies, pie at DH's family Tomorrow AM: crescent roll breakfast casserole and pastries for DH and I while we open presents Tomorrow PM (around 2): Ham, cornbread stuffing, sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, some kind of veggie my brother is bringing, rolls, Black Forrest Cake and cookies with my family at our house
Tonight is appetizer fest at my moms. I don't know exactly what's being served, but she did get a small beef tenderloin, and I made spanikopita and cheese pies to bring. Lots of cookies for dessert, too.
Breakfast tomorrow is at the ILs: French toast, Scotch eggs, Cinnamon Rolls, Mimosas
I'm hosting dinner: Beef Tenderloin, Mashed Potatoes, Creamed Corn, Roasted Carrots & Brussels, and Rolls. Dessert is Eggnog Cheesecake brownies & Sticky Toffee Pudding. ILs are bringing appetizers.
I think we might get Chinese takeout on the way home from church, as it's just DH, DD and I. I'm making breakfast/brunch at my house tomorrow. I don't know exactly what I'm serving (as in what recipes I have bookmarked to use), but I have 3 lbs of bacon, 2 lbs of sausage, 3 dozen eggs, cheese, cinnamon rolls, a few types of bread, a gallon of orange juice, 2 bottles of champagne, tons of coffee, and 2 quarts of cream - I can whip up basically anything for the 9 of us adults with that.
Tomorrow for dinner we're having fried turkey and all the trimmings, and pie... which I still have to make to take to DH's aunt's!
PM: antipasti (assorted meats, cheese, olives, roasted red peppers), lasagna, sausage (sweet & hot), meatballs, braciole, raviolis, and garlic bread. I'm making everything except the raviolis (had to buy because my parents didn't make them as planned). Cookies for dessert.

Tonight: Still to be decided. Historically, we host both sides of the family at our house and my parents pay for dinner (catered), usually from a local Italian place. But this year, almost everyone in the family is sick, so we're just doing our own thing. My parents are visiting, so they'll be with us. My mom just got back from the doctor because she looks like death warmed over (thankfully it's a sinus infection and not the flu or something) and DD2 has a fever, so we'll do something super easy for dinner. Maybe a prepared meal from Fresh Market (fancy grocery store), maybe a meal from one of those catering type places where it's pre-made and you pick it up.
The only definite is the "Happy Birthday, Baby Jesus" cake that DD1 insisted we buy :-) Oh, and cookies for Santa. I bought Pillsbury dough, so hopefully that will require very little effort, but will fulfill all of DD1's cookie-making-for-Santa fantasies.
Christmas Breakfast: Coffee cake (our family's tradition -- super yummy) and then I have bacon, turkey sausage, and eggs. Not sure if I'll cook all of those separately of if I'll make some sort of a casserole. DH sometimes likes to make omelets on Christmas morning, so we'll see what we feel like.
Christmas dinner (at my in laws): Standing rib roast, ham, and many assorted yummy sides, all of it made by my sweet MIL who refused to let me help since I have a houseful of sickies. She also offered to deliver it to our house if we're too sick to go over there.
Tonight: I have no idea.maybe pizza. It's just us unless we got to a friend's open house.
Tomorrow: ham, meatballs, mashed potatoes, corn, rolls, random apps and other sides. We've eaten the same food on Christmas my whole life. My brothers would likely riot if I did something else.
Tonight, we're having baked ziti, salad, and garlic bread with the ILs.
Tomorrow morning, we're having breakfast casserole and cinnamon and orange rolls.
Tomorrow afternoon, we're having the traditional Christmas meal with ham. I'm not sure what sides though, my mom is making it all because she's awesome. The only thing I am making is cranberry fluff.

Tonight is filet mignon with funeral potatoes, spinach salad and appetizers - we are hosting friends. I don't think we have dessert or wine, eek.
Tomorrow morning is PW french toast bake and bacon. Dinner will be whatever my mom makes, but we aren't technically celebrating tomorrow so it will be lower key.
Tonight is Chinese (I'm so glad I got DH on board with that tradition.
Tomorrow we will have orange cranberry breakfast buns with eggs and bacon for breakfast. Smoked salmon and shrimp cocktail as snacks. Dinner is short ribs, roasted potatoes and green beans.

Tonight we are just having lasagne
For tomorrow morning I'm making slow cooker cranberry almond oatmeal and cinnamon raisin bread in the bread machine that I haven't used since we got married in 2011.
Tonight, Chili with Fritos, cheese & sour cream, plus homemade cookies. Breakfast to morrow - Either homemade donuts or cinnamon rolls (not homemade) Dinner/Lunch tomorrow - TAMALES. Guacamole, Queso, Salsa. And Brownies.
Tonight after church we are doing a buffet-style meal at my mom's, heavy on the appetizers since we all like to kind of stand around and snack on Christmas Eve:
Artichoke dip and crackers Goat cheese wontons Crudite and ranch dip Peel and eat shrimp Spinach salad with strawberries Honey baked ham Biscuits Cheese grits Molton chocolate cakes Coconut cake
Tomorrow morning we are brunching it with:
Spinach and mushroom quiche Quiche Lorraine Assorted bagels and cream cheese Cinnamon rolls Bacon and turkey sausage Fresh berries Mimosas
We fly out to visit my ILs tomorrow afternoon, so we will be missing out on a big Christmas dinner. I am sure my MIL will make something yummy on the 26th when we are all together, though. I am pulling for beef tenderloin and/or crab cakes. She's a great cook.
