Several years ago, ML turned my H into Sir Shark Slippers bc he gave me the same pair of shark slippers two years running (with back story, it wasn't that bad lol)
This year beats everything!
Disclaimers - yes, this is what I asked for. Several times. And it's been 3 years of "for the love of the flush, will you please replace the 20-year-old early model low-flush toilets!!"

LOL... I have gotten a toilet for Christmas before. Check your water company, you may be eligible for a $100 rebate, which is about the cost of the glacier bay. Just a warning, the toilet seats suck on a lot of those, and you will want to upgrade, unless it's just an occasionally used toilet.
I'll AW that I've replaced my toilet's wax ring recently. That meant emptying it of every last drop of water, unscrewing it, moving it to the side, scraping off the old wax ring, putting on the new one, and then finally asking DH to help me put the toilet back in place.
This reminds me that I should put a new toilet seat on my list for next year.
Glad you got exactly what you wanted. Just remember to replace them one at a time!
I accidentally opened a card that I thought just had my dad/stepmom's Christmas card/letter in it-but it had a $100 SBUX GC for me and $100 REI GC for DH.
All we have here are the "stockings" I put together for us...
So, I got a couple new weaving shuttles, some bone needles for yet another attempt at trying naalbinding, some lebkuchen, some jelly beans, and a lifesaves Christmas book.
I was happier to see DH's reaction for his, though. I managed to knit him a new pair of very colourful boot socks, and he was utterly puzzled to figure out _when_ I had knit them, because they were a complete and total surprise. Yay!
H did indeed make a stocking! I got up crazy early with the dogs, and he actually got out of bed to show me that he had done it lol (the joke I made about waiting until 2 pm to notice, as is his MO, went over his head at 4 am).
FI: my LV was my official gift but he also did some damage at sephora (all on his own; no input from me!). Naked3, hourglass veil primer, and YSL lipstick. So proud.
Brocom: ballroom dance lessons for the wedding!
Dad: Bluetooth speaker
One of my patients bought me a scarf and I still have to spend my Tiffanys gift card from FI's boss. I want to get the silver beads earrings, and I can't decide between perfume and wine glasses for the remaining amount.
H got me diamond stud earrings (teeny tiny ones since that's what fits in our budget--but pretty!), two necklaces, the new Garth Brooks CD, a Dave Ramsey book I wanted (Smart Money, Smart Kids), and an Ulta gift card.
My ILs got me Target gift cards, ear muffs, slippers, a parenting book I wanted, and Unbroken.
We are exchanging with my parents and siblings later this morning.
The boys gave me sapphire and diamond earrings, and H went with a theme and gave me some specialty teas, a cast iron brewing pot, and a travel loose-leaf brewing cup. My parents gave us steak knives (that I asked for and we desperately needed) and some random drinking glasses, likely because they gave my sister and BIL a more expensive gift and wanted the amounts to be even. Very thoughtful, but I'm not quite sure where to put all the new glassware.
H got me Bose noise canceling earbuds, a kindle paperwhite, and a Pyrex measuring cup (to replace the one he took to work). I got him a wool scarf in his Scottish clan tartan, a new coat, DVDs, and a Tile for his keys (google Tile app).
Now that we've opened the rest of our gifts: large checks from both sets of parents, a new muffin pan, tickets to see my favorite band, chocolates, and a new blanket.

I have to post it here since I can't complain IRL.
MIL gave DH $200 cash and some clothes. When I opened my gift, it was a cookbook I can't use (dietary restrictions) and hand cream I can't use (allergies). She said, "Sorry it wasn't more, but I already gave you your gift." She didn't . When I gave her a blank look, she said, "The hair dryer! Remember I gave you the hair dryer?"
She gave me a hair dryer for Christmas last year. FML. So now DH is telling me not to come near his gift.
It was a very good year in the preppy house. My haul includes: Melissa button frye boots Hunter boots Tory burch flats Tory burch sandals Vineyard vines wrap sweater Vineyard vines blazer Tory burch cross body (don't love it prob exchanging) Monogram necklace 2 fun skirts (1 anthro 1 vineyard) Workout clothes Madewell leather tote Toms wedge booties Plus some smaller stocking items:)
My H spoiled me this year. He got me an iPad air 2 and frye boots.
My parents got me gift cards and cash, plus a sweater I'm going to return because it's a little scratchy and kind of cropped. My brother got me gift cards.
Next weekend is Christmas with the ILs, but they aren't big gift givers, so I'm not expecting much.

Dh got me an amazing selection of recovery toys for running--lacrosse balls, rolly ball stick, and a book on pressure points. Cash and socks from mil/parents, and craft beer/champagne/candy from my brother. But! The best gift I have from this year hosting bro, SIL and niece (aka, my brown eyed ringer--she looks so much like I did at 6 months) for baby's first Christmas!
Lurker popping in... I'm pretty happy with gifts given and those I've gotten this year. Cash from parents & in-laws. It's always cash so no big surprise there but always appreciated. <) Lifting gloves & a few lululemon tops from my DH. Yay! feed the addiction. Sephora GC from my sister along with some small goodies. Between my few good friends I actually exchange gifts with, I got Lush bath stuff, Movie GC, mascara, leather wallet, necklace, lulu pants, and all kinds of food goodies.
