I don't think we've discussed this yet and it's coming up fast! I am not so much planning to make a resolution as set a few goals for the next 6 months or so. (Those are resolutions aren't they *-)). Anyhow, I'd love to be inspired and discuss what you're thinking. I am sure there are more than a few gym related goals, but what else do you have?

I am putting a lot of my goals off until I wean dd2 in February.
1. Work on getting DD2 to sttn, we will nurse morning and night, but not all freaking night. I'm done. (Talk to me in February and see if I still feel this way...) 2. Improve my vocabulary lessons at work, I feel like I've really sucked them up this year. 3. Workout once a week after work, before getting the girls. 4. Develop 4 full freezer menus with grocery lists so I have a rotation of meals to prepare. 5. Learn all family member and close friends bdays, buy cards and actually send them!
-Read 100 books in 2015 -Run a 5K -Pay off my car before it hits 100,000 miles -Paint the house, redo DS1's bedroom, and generally make our house more into a home -Stay on top of my photos and make family photo books -Use my DSLR twice a week
I have let my friendships slide a bit this year. I'm full of excuses about being busy, but my goal is to put in the effort to build those relationships up again.
We spent so much time inside as well. I want to get outside more with the kids.
I had one more...my brain is total mush today. It'll come back to me. It obviously wasn't that important, lol.
we don't do resolutions either and set goals instead. DH will be opening his photography studio this summer - he is in the process of building it right now. that will help us financially. I would like to book the same amount or more gigs for my business because all that money goes towards savings and retirement. Can't believe it is here again (5 years went too damn fast) - we will TTC for #2 towards the end of next year. Hoping for the exact opposite pregnancy I had with DD.

I love goal number 5! That's a great idea. I bet it would help to buy a big box of cards to keep on hand.

Something about my dad calling me regularly to remind to me to call/text/email different family members is feeling a little inappropriate at this point in my life. My family is great to my kids, I think the least I can do is send them a card on their bday.

In the past, Costco has sold a box of various cards. I haven't seen it yet but I'm hoping its out soon now that Christmas stuff is put away.

Lose the weight. THe baby weight excuse is over. Also, my babies weren't THAT big.
basically, my goal this year is to be more vain. Actually care about myself. Take the time to use my makeup, more than a ponytail for work, Cuter clothes, etc. I've been a depressive slob for way too long. If I'm worth it skinny, I'm worth it fat.

Sell the house. Major decluttering project to complete. Healthy eating and exercise (you know AFTER NYE when I consume all that cream cheese.) Carve out more me time in my day. I like the goals to be more vain. I think we all let that slide sometimes and I received some nice makeup and jewelry for Christmas and I could probably ditch the scrunchies and get a real haircut! Get rid of ds2's pacifier Make it work so I can help my parents this spring with their busy season at work.
I'm giving myself a 31-day challenge starting Jan 1st - I signed up for a strength training class once a week, and have built a 6 day workout regimen to last the month around that (so 2 days full strength train only, 3 days of straight cardio + abs, and one day interval training plus upper body strength) and have been gradually making shifts in some of our (family) food choices.
I'm going to weigh myself and take measurements on the 1st, and not again til the 31st. If I feel I did well, I get a mini spa day.
Oh, and purge the shit out of my house. We have too much clutter and crap. MH is a bit of a hoarder. I've gotten him to donate/recycle like 30 old textbooks he had, sell a desk and extra futon, and get rid of some miscellaneous shit. And I promised to reorganize our two "main" closets in return.
Andplusalso, get back on track with house projects as we haven't done any work, other than replacing all our old light fixtures/ceiling fans with new ones since DS was born. Some projects are big (gut bathroom) and some are little (paint exterior doors).
Well same as usual 1. Eat better 2. exercise more - I did get a fitbit so this may help. I hope
But also Make time for myself more (I actually started this a few months ago and feel great) Read more, less TV. Any good book recs? Put the phone down Make a cleaning schedule and stick to it.
I have a few things but don't want to call them resolutions because that word seems to make me fail !
Lose the 50 lbs I've gained in the last 2 years due to well... me over eating (I'd like to blame it on stress there's been enough of it).
Get to bed at a reasonable house so I'm not dragging ass when I get out of bed to get DD ready for school.
Better time management. I think that will help me achieve a ton of day to day simple goals.
Give myself a reasonable daily schedule so I can keep a cleaner, more clutter free daily home life! It's a vicious cycle. I don't give myself enough time to complete things. I'm rushing on to the next one or trying to get out of the house cause I didn't give myself enough time to get ready then I don't have time to completely clean up what I was doing which makes every room messy!
They all tie into one another so I'm going to take baby steps & make it work this time.
Oh, and have more sex with DH. Our sex life has suffered for a few years now so I need to initiate it more.

I need to rebuild my confidence in my ability to follow through with some major things. Diet and exercise are one of them, my baby is two, and my health and weight are not good. I am also working part time again. I have struggled to find balance since having kids, and have gone back and forth many times on what kind of work schedule/vs. staying home full time is right for our family. I have a great part time job now, and I am going to commit to it and to enjoying my time at work. Finally, with the financial stuff relieved a bit by the job, I need to face the reality of our finances and really get things in order.

1.) Focus on today and good habits instead of hard to reach goals. Be intentional and present. a. less alcohol b. use that gym membership c. plan, shop, prepare, and eat well d. write more e. paint more f. make DH feel special
