1. How did you do over the holidays? Lots of poor choices. Seeing the number on the scale this morning nearly knocked me over because I had mentally prepared for something else. I'm hoping some of it is water weight, as the poor choices only lasted a week or so. Either way, time to move forward!
2. When do you plan to "get back on track?" Today. That's why I went ahead and jumped on the scale. I knew it would keep me from another week of bad choices. I'll give myself some freedom on NYE, but other than that it'll be whole foods and clean choices.
3. Health and Fitness goals for 2015? a) Attempt yoga at least 5 times. In the past, yoga has felt a bit like detention to me -- quietly counting the minutes of my life away. However, I know it would be good for me in terms of flexibility for crossfit and overall stress reduction. My neurologist has been pushing me to try it because he thinks that my Type-A personality leads to lots of internalized stress, which may cause unnecessary headaches. I'm going to give it another shot, then call it a day if I still don't enjoy. b) 210lb back squat c) 9:50 mile. This would be a 10 sec PR and lightening fast for me.
4. How are things going to be different? Or if you already do everything right (I bow to you!), what habits will you keep doing? I'm going to work on getting comfortable sharing my goals - fitness, diet, etc. I'm the type of person that once I've verbalized it, I'm going to do it - if only to avoid looking like I failed. Hopefully that will lead to some new healthy habits.
5. How can we support you (e.g. check-ins, workout tips, meal ideas, etc.)? Keeping our weekly check-ins would be helpful!

1. How did you do over the holidays? Not good
2. When do you plan to "get back on track?" I'm joining the gym this week, then next week I'll get back to eating healthier/meal planning/counting calories
3. Health and Fitness goals for 2015? Lose a lot of weight...and become fit and healthy in the process. But overall the goal is to focus on myself and make this a priority no matter what - no excuses.
4. How are things going to be different? Or if you already do everything right (I bow to you!), what habits will you keep doing? Just about everything, I have gotten really bad about both eating and exercise and it shows. I have a really hard time with snacking/eating mindlessly and that needs to change. I am an emotional eater and unfortunately, I am very emotional.
5. How can we support you (e.g. check-ins, workout tips, meal ideas, etc.)? I love the check ins, I need encouragement/support because it's really easy for me to get off track if I feel I don't have it. Just someone to say "keep going!" I always enjoy new meal ideas too.
1. How did you do over the holidays? -Horrible! Lol
2. When do you plan to "get back on track?" -I plan to start back to running today. -Food wise on the 1st. Too much food on NYE to start eating good food now.
3. Health and Fitness goals for 2015? -Lose 20-25lbs -Fit into my entire wardrobe of clothing that is 1-2 sizes too small for me right now.
4. How are things going to be different? Or if you already do everything right (I bow to you!), what habits will you keep doing? -Stop buying junk food -I'm going to slowly start the whole30.
5. How can we support you (e.g. check-ins, workout tips, meal ideas, etc.)? -check-ins -meal ideas/help would be great -I also like the OOTD threads because it builds self esteem and that encourages me to work out/eat better.
I'm trying to decide if I would benefit from joining a gym, or if I should go back to daily workouts at home. H's gym has Zumba and spin classes, but he works out while I'm at work so I would probably have to go alone.

1. How did you do over the holidays? Ehh. We ate breakfast late, which meant that we'd skip lunch and then over indulge at dinner or snack horribly late at night.
2. When do you plan to "get back on track?" I started today. I'm determined to go to the gym before work Mon-Fri this week. I have my alarm set for 6:10am Oh and I forgot, myself and a few of my FB friends are doing the 30 Day Planking Challange starting on Jan 1st. If you're interested let me know.
3. Health and Fitness goals for 2015? Lose weight and get back into my size 12. It's not a huge size jump, but I was a 12 before I had lo and if I get back to that I'll be happy for now.
4. How are things going to be different? Or if you already do everything right (I bow to you!), what habits will you keep doing? I have to exercise more than I eat and I have to stop snacking. That's is what is killing me. My job is just sedentary so I eat out of boredom.
5. How can we support you (e.g. check-ins, workout tips, meal ideas, etc.)? Check-ins

Hope no one minds me joining in. I'm obviously not looking to lose weight but I need to get healthier!
1. How did you do over the holidays? Not bad for the most part. I only had a couple cookies on Christmas. My biggest problem was not eating breakfast for almost 4 hours after getting up. Huge blood sugar spike after breakfast! Whoops!
2. When do you plan to "get back on track?" Well, now I guess lol. Don't have much of a choice
3. Health and Fitness goals for 2015? Keep my blood sugar down after meals, exercise at least 3 times a week, if not every day if I can! This pulled muscle is going to make things difficult though. After baby, I want to get back to the weight I was at our wedding within a reasonable amount of time!
4. How are things going to be different? Or if you already do everything right (I bow to you!), what habits will you keep doing? I need to walk more, especially after meals. Watching carbs and sugar. I love sugar so it's not easy but it needs to be done!
5. How can we support you (e.g. check-ins, workout tips, meal ideas, etc.)? Maybe some low sugar sweets? Haha. Idk where to find any that don't taste terrible!
1. How did you do over the holidays? Um, I was gifted sea salt carmels. I opened the box on the 26th and they were gone by the 28th
2. When do you plan to "get back on track?" Starting 1/2
3. Health and Fitness goals for 2015? Walk dog regularly (hopefully daily), feel better about my body, fit comfortably in size 10 clothes.
4. How are things going to be different? Or if you already do everything right (I bow to you!), what habits will you keep doing? Hopefully I will be successful cutting down on pop. I also already purchased two kickboxing dvds (that was my favorite workout class back when I had a gym membership.)
5. How can we support you (e.g. check-ins, workout tips, meal ideas, etc.)? checkins, maybe sharing meal plans for ideas?
1. How did you do over the holidays? Bad, Bad, Bad haha
2. When do you plan to "get back on track?" January 5th is going to be my official start date, but I'm going to start (hopefully) prior to then but get on my routine/schedule by the 5th
3. Health and Fitness goals for 2015? Just to be healthy and feel comfortable in my clothes which over the last month has been not so great.
4. How are things going to be different? Or if you already do everything right (I bow to you!), what habits will you keep doing? I am hoping to do some form of exercise daily, even if it is just a 20-30 min walk. Going to try to incorporate lots of various work outs to not get bored. (yoga, zumba, pilates, weights, work out ball (I got for Christmas)
5. How can we support you (e.g. check-ins, workout tips, meal ideas, etc.)? I was actually going to ask if people wanted to do check-ins so thanks wanderingenough for doing this thread Check-ins I think will help me the most!
1. Too much salt and sugar! 2. Jan 2 3. To not gain more than 10 more pounds before the baby is here. I'll reassess after that. 4. We are going to be cooking at home more, for health and budget reasons. 5. Recipe ideas would be great! I also like to hear about struggles people are having, and how they are handling them. Sometimes I think this is so easy for everyone else and so hard for me, but I know it is hard for almost everyone.
