They are STILL renovating the apt next door. I'm guessing they don't have it rented out yet because otherwise there's no way it would be taking more than a month - they got ours ready in a little over 2 weeks. I'm so over the noise! Also, today they are using something that smells, I don't know what it (glue? something for the floors?) is but holy cow is it strong. Please, please be done soon - this is not good for someone who WFH.
We finished off the Christmas cookies last night, thank goodness. I was inhaling those things like I hadn't eaten in a month. No self control.
So, this morning I keep waiting on my boss to get here. I send her an email on something and her out-of-office messages comes back. I'm all fired up thinking that I wish she had let me know she was going to be out all week! We talked about Christmas and the day after many times...but not the week after Christmas. I then realized two hours later that she didn't discuss it because it's what she does every year. She ALWAYS takes that week off and it's understood. I felt like a doofus....but please oh, please....let is be slow while she is out. I am ALL HR this week :\
This was my first time moving, and man there is so much to do! I have been on it today :-). Contacted newspaper, post office, insurance, looked at getting few things set up that aren't yet, buying a couple needed items (right now we have nothing hanging on the walls including no mirrors!) And so on.
And just for fun... Our main plumbing is backing up in the tub. So I need to get ahold of a plumber and get that fixed. DH dug up the line and it runs downhill then back uphill to the septic tank =-O:'( what a mess. I swear this house..
HoneySpider- I hope the construction is over soon.
MrsMB- lol, that's something I would do, in fact I woke DH up this morning at 7 freaking out because he was late to work. I may have forgotten that he gets this week off as well.
I am doing a little cleaning and once that's done I am going to run on the treadmill. I haven't run since dec 15 or 16th, we will see how this goes.
bk1- runs uphill to the septic tank?!? That is very weird, of course it's going to back up into the basement. Hopefully you can figure it out and it doesn't cost you too much.

HoneySpider, Christmas cookies are the worst, esp sugar cookies, I think I might have eaten a jar of them.
bk1, I was going to say that was "shitty" but then I thought that was too obvious and cheesy.
My random is really random. I have a friend that is on FB once maybe twice a week, but when she's on she pluses everything, so when I log on I have 9 billion likes and comments.
This is more of a vent, but my H and I just went over paint colors and reached a bitter stale mate. Originally he said he was fine with whatever, as long as it wasn't yellow tones or too purple.. But now he hated every single color. Even the greys I picked were apparently wrong. I'm too tired to handle this. Don't tell me to pick then diss everything.
HoneySpider I have a thing full of cookies that I am having a hard time not raiding, I think I may just throw them out.
I caught DH's head cold. Of course I still had to get up, do laundry, and cook him lunch before he went to work. I also put away the Christmas decorations and about to work out. He is still acting like he is so sick he can't get up off the couch. I hate man colds!

DH and I finally decided we would each pick different rooms. He got the colors he wanted in the nursery, living room, and master bedroom. I got the bathrooms, laundry room, kitchen and dining. I also got his room which is funny. It was intentionally that way, it's just we had his room/nursery switched when we painted. It all worked out.
