M: Leftovers - split pea soup and garlic green beans w/ toasted ciabatta bread T: Some sort of Indian dish - I've got a couple of curry sauces I need to use W: Lobster and prawns - I'm debating about cooking them with some fresh pasta or just by themselves. Veggies on side. Th: Flatbread pizza F: Not sure yet
I'm probably not cooking again until New Year's Day. Then it'll likely be a broccoli and cheese stuffed chicken that I just throw in the oven.
Last night was homemade chili, made with half ground beef and half venison fajita meat that we didn't like as actual fajitas. I made tator tot waffles to serve with it instead of chips. Also had freshly grated cheddar and edamame on the side. Sooooo good.
Tonight - Chicken pot pies for H and DS /leftover veggie lasagna for me Tuesday - Fish tacos Wednesday - Ordering Thai food Thursday - Um. I totally forget what we decided. Maybe fajitas? Friday - Homemade pizza
Not sure yet, but this is my first week of trying to menu plan based on what I want instead of trying to make meals that are not inspiring based on what is on sale.
It ends up costing me more money to shop the sales, I think, because then we abandon the meal and get take out/fast food & then groceries go to waste. I'm hoping this way will encourage us to eat at home more and save some money in the process.
We are having a leftovers/clean out the pantry night today and tomorrow because I haven't had a chance to get to the grocery. W: pizza R: burgers, loaded cheese fries, zucchini chips (and Buckeyes for dessert to support our Bucks!) F: quesadillas S: buffalo chicken chowder

Yesterday: grilled chicken over mixed greens Tonight: roasted shrimp, salad and rice Tomorrow: roast, salads and potatoes for h W: no idea yet Th- salmon salads F-out with friends
I started back on my carb cycling yesterday. I use the skinny taste cookbook for most of these
Sun-carne asada Mon-naked persian turkey burgers with tomato/cuke salad and tzatziki sauce Tues-pasta with chicken sausage, peppers and spinach Wed-buffalo chicken balls Thurs-chicken lettuce wraps Fri-beef and broccoli with brown rice
M: Crockpot corn and potato chowder T: Black bean sliders W: probably leftover chowder That's all I've got so far. I'll figure out the rest tomorrow or Wednesday.
