People ask me occasionally if I dye my hair (which I think it's obviously not) and I wonder if I am the only woman my age who doesn't. I dyed my hair more as a teen than as I have as an adult.

I dye mine a shade darker and richer than my normal color. It covers the few greys I'm starting to get at my temples but I also like how it warms me up.

I haven't dyed my hair in almost 2 years, but I'm considering starting to do this. My grays are becoming more noticeable.
I've been dying my hair since I was in middle school and do so about four times a year (not super consistently). Normally, it's red, but I am thinking of going for more of Elizabeth Olsen's color at my next appointment.

315, I don't know very many people my age that don't dye their hair. It's probably only a handful.

I haven't dyed my hair in probably about 10 years. I used to dye it a lot (mostly marroonish/brown as a teen). I also used to dye it with black cherry kool-aid a lot.
I'll probably have to start dyeing it in the next 5 years or so. I'm getting quite a few greys. I don't think I'll mind rocking the grey when I'm 60+, but not at 30.
I havent dyed it in 10 years, after going through a bleach/blue/pink/orange/blonde phase in college. I love my natural red color, and people ask me all the time if I color it. Even at the grocery store, haha!

Mine is bleached and colored to the extreme. I keep LMAO since I've had more than one person ask if I'm a natural blonde. It makes me laugh since my hair is very dark brown and my roots are growing out to look almost black. I'm getting some lowlights in November. I figure I can tone it down for the cooler months and go back to light in March.

I haven't colored my hair in almost 2 years now after getting highlights or lowlights for many years. I'm not crazy about my natural color, but this is the healthiest it's been in a long time.
I've been dying since high school, not always consistantly until I worked at a salon and got discount hair services. I am still great friends with my stylist friend I met there, so she still takes good care of me. I have started actually "needing" to color since I am getting grays, especially near my temples. Sad because I'm only 27, but my mom went gray early too so I have her to blame.

My paternal grandmother told me that one day she was pushing my dad in his baby carriage in the park and a woman came up to her and asked, "Lady, why'd you dye your hair white?!" Nope, she was full-on white when she was in her early 20's. I was expecting to get grays young but so far I've been spared. ::knock on wood::
I used to highlight/dye my hair when I was younger (high school/college). I haven't done anything to it since it grew back after chemo - I joke with my hairstylist that I have "born again" hair. I just can't bring myself to do anything to it yet, though I'm sure once the greys start coming in I'll change my tune. I would like to do redder in the fall, but I'm not sure if I can bite the bullet - the upkeep out here would be waaay too expensive!

single process. i just started maybe a year ago and it really to even out the color - my ends were horribly brassy/sunbleached so I just dye to my natural color (maybe a touch darker). i only have to do it every 6 mos.

I get highlights and some lowlights. My hair is not naturally a really pretty or vibrant color so I've been doing it since college. I look better with some dimension. Plus, I've got grays now so that is my justification to continue, lol.
I haven't dyed my hair in a year and a half and that was single process to cover up growing out highlights. the majority of my hair is now its natural color, with some colored bits on the ends. I do have some grays but am leaving them be for the time being (or plucking if they really annoy me).
I also did some demi-permanent hot pink streaks this past spring. that was fun. I'll probably do them again soon. they don't change my underlying color at all.
so yes I do dye my hair, but haven't done so in a while.

I dyed my hair blonde from age 13-25 and then darkened it back to my natural color but added color to make it richer. I recently put some highlights back in it 2 months ago, but it's more of a caramel color now and no where near the blonde that I used to rock.
I've been dying my hair since I was 16, so 12 years. The most extreme colors I've done are bright fire engine red, and blue black. Generally I stick to more natural auburns/reds/chocolate browns.
