I am constantly fighting the urge to pierce my nose and dye my hair pink (which I would never really do with my job, but I get soooo bored with a conservative look).
Soooo, this is what I'm thinking about doing to my hair for the fall. Do you think I can get away with this? Also, I work for myself, so have no stodgy boss to worry about, but of course I don't want to be getting the side eye from clients and colleagues and have people think I look unprofessional.
This cut, but without the part so far over because I don't want the long bangs cutting off the top of my face since it's chubby
This color
Then peek a boo highlights like this using the red in the first pic
I adore the red in the first pic, but don't think the color would work with my skin because I have pink undertones.

I think it sounds really cute. Edgy but not unprofessional.
I had hot pink and purple bangs for a few months, so I understand having a boss / clients judge. (I forgot a client was coming in before I had a chance to go back to my natural color.)

How thick is your hair? The only concern I would have is that if it's towards the thinner/ fine side that there's more "Boo!" than peek. I have thin hair, but tons of it which makes my color less visible in the back. It's there in the front, but pretty well hidden in the back until I ponytail it. If you do have fine hair and not a lot, you may want to look into stacking a bit more to gain some volume, but no Kate Gosselyn rooster do.
